"Looking for a place for my daughter-in-law to stay we found the meadows edge apartments. She loves the styling of the buildings and the location works perfectly as well. The young lady that worked with us Alysha was a pure delight to work with. She went out of her way to make sure that all of our questions were answered; about the the apartments and the area. I liked working with her."

"I lived at Villas for three years. It's absolute garbage. This place is full of bed bugs, roaches, and trap houses. The local gangs have had an on going turf war, of which, evidence is spray painted all over the property. I was robbed twice at gun point in my apartment while living there. The bed bugs are never tended to, I went to the office to tell them, and the office laughed at me, telling me they didn't have bed bugs. The maintenance sucks and none of the amenities ever worked or, were open, pools were only for looks. The laundry rooms were dark and half the machines were always down. The security guard was a real racist pig, too. Once while doing laundry, I over heard him exclaim as he approached the laundry room his distain for how "wetbacks" ought to keep more regular hours, as he planned to lock the room up with my laundry inside, till I walked up and said, "hello." "By far the WORST place I have ever rented from. Gunshots can be heard in the neighborhood at least every few months, the pool was bright green and had broken glass in it, making it unsafe for swimming during my entire lease, rent was always $100 or more than originally priced on the lease, I had to live without a stove for a year simply because maintenance refused to light the pilot (after I put in multiple requests at the Apartment Manager's Office), there were charges on my rent I was not able to understand, nor would management explain, and I was charged every month for pest & bug control however my apartment continued to be cockroach infested - even while spotless. There was even an incident where a kid turned off our power from outside, and management refused to assist us, we ended up contacting the electric company and waiting 9 hours for a technician from the electric company to come out and flip the switch back on (and let us know someone simply flipped it off since there is not a cover or lock on the unit). If you are on low income continue searching somewhere else, this place will suck you dry both financially and emotionally."

"I have lived in these apartments for 2 yrs. Years that i will never get back. It was meant only to be temporary. When i first moved they literally had to give me a new apartment because they tried to move me into this horrible horrible place & as i walking around the complex a woman was nearly running to the office to discuss how horrible the roaches & bed bugs were ( and honey them roaches will become your best friend). THEN when i moved into it i was missing doors, they had tape on the doors b/c they was not fixed the ceiling fan was nearly about to fall off & It took me to send a demand letter to get anything done around the apartments which takes them forever to fix anything. They have tried to update the apartments but because it's so horrible over there it never stays beautiful. Then when i see how the portray the apartment online it's all LIES. They tell you about the "two beautiful pools they have." I have been here for 2 yrs and the pools was open for like a day, & yes like a day out of the 2 yrs. Now i have moved & cleaned the apartment for 4 days spent hundred of dollars to try and clean the carpet & they come back and tell me that out of the $300 dollar deposit i put down that I OWE $20. So not only did they try and take my deposit but still try and make money off of me. Then they try and say the whole apartment complex is 2 months behind on utilities and so i owe $160 for that. (HOW DO I MOVE INTO APARTMENTS ALREADY IN DEBT?) Then tried to say that i owe $125 for carpet cleaning. I questioned that because one all the apartments look horrible from the first day & my neighbor whom only stayed for one month i looked @ her carpet & asked why it was SO dirty it looked like somebody took some mud put it on there shoe and just walked around & then they kept this old nasty squishy toilet seats for people with hemorrhoids used from the old residents there. she said that the office said they tried to clean it & that's as good as it would get. So when she tried to fine me for the carpet AFTER telling me that "we will try and clean it so you won't have to pay," i asked to see the carpet & was told oh we haven't cleaned it yet. (But you can send me a bill). The bad part is that the apartment was Sooo clean that when we did the walk through the refrigerator was already gone because they moved it into another apartment already. At one point in time a woman come to the apartments asking young adults to help plot and kill her husband which was all over the news, which comes to show how horrible these apartments are. But these horrible apartments think they can get over on me. Please read all reviews before you decide to move here. People like them like to say this is just an angry tenant, but all in all i'm just here to warn people before you move in here to just think twice. These people are after YOUR money looking for people they know they can get over because it's a low income community , they are not here to make you a happy customer, these people are leaches looking who they can squeeze a couple bucks out of. You will have problems from the minute you move in to the minute you leave. I have went through about 5 different managers & they still can't get nothing right. These are the can't get right apartments."

"I rate this place one star only because I could not rate zero! These apartments are absolutely the worst I've ever lived in. From the beginning all I would see was roaches, roaches, roaches. There was roach feces in every room on the walls in the corners it was so disgusting. No matter how much we cleaned and covered up every crack there were still roaches. We were charged pest control fee every month with our rent and they should pay us for the unwanted roach tenants living in the apartments. Fortunately, I had no issue with bed bugs. The management was horrible. They were so full of bs and never fixed anything I also went for about 2 wks without gas. When I moved in there was trash in the apartment as if someone had just picked up and left! One of my restrooms never worked, it never was fixed and we began using it as a storage room! The tubs were both cracked and peeling and never got fixed and yes all they do is paint over everything just not to fix it and it's a horrible paint job at that. I was glad when the previous management left but I cant say much about the new management either. I have seen very little improvement and no matter what they say about their strict policies to lease out apartments seems like they just lease out to anyone. The exterior of the apartments only looks descent by the entrance area, but once you drive in you can see trash everywhere by the dumpsters, parking lots, grass etc. Just plain filthy inside and out. We stuck it out til the end of our lease, I couldnt wait another minute to get out of there. Now I am just dealing with the new management on the refund on my deposit as I refuse to pay for the filth I had to live with in there. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone not even to my worst enemy."
