"The Upland Apartment I recently moved into The Upland and initially faced a few challenges due to the previous management team's oversight. However, after reaching out to the regional office, they quickly resolved the issue and made things right. Since then, I've been nothing but happy with my apartment and living experience. The location is great, and I have no issues with any of my neighbors. In particular, Kelli from the new management team has been a fantastic help. She is proactive and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the tenants' satisfaction, which speaks volumes about the new management's dedication to providing a great living experience. I highly recommend The Upland to anyone looking for a well-managed and comfortable place to call home"

"When it comes to getting things done for tenants, there is no sense of urgency. There should never be a case where a tenants are waiting 2 weeks to hear back for an answer, considering the multiple phone calls that have been made. There’s been an obvious change of management and staff which is no excuse on getting things done. I assume management that is being hired is qualified for the job and should be able to pick up what needs to be done. Outside of the lack of communication, sense of urgency and many amenities that are NOT available such as the dog park, constant broken gates for anyone to come into, gym not fully equipped .. the apartments are nice and new"

"I am totally disappointed to live in this community, when you come to ask for information about living here they treat you kindly but after a few months living here when problems start to arise with the apartment and you go to the office for help they will refuse to help you solve the problem. The previous staff starting with the manager were very unpleasant. I hope now with the new staff they start to solve the problems. I am currently having a problem with the utility bill and I went to the office to solve the issue and they refused to help me. They want me to pay them the full amount when they themselves know and recognized that this is an exaggeratedly high sum. So if you are thinking about coming to live here, I really wouldn't recommend them at all. They are really expensive apartments for the service they offer and they don't help you solve problems. They just want your money as if money could be easily gotten these days. Living here is a total rip off. You’ll be billed $469 for utilities excluding electricity."

"I had lived in this community and decided to not renew my lease. Overall I do not think the value is there for the cost of living but I will be fair and share both pros and cons. Pros Location. The location is absolutely perfect in terms of access to getting where you need to go. Having important things like a HEB, Walmart, and even bus stop within close range was nice. Also the units themselves are nice and spacious. Also I appreciate no carpet throughout. Most of the staff were nice and pleasant. Cons Other residents have made it unpleasant. Noise levels, trash, theft from package room. I also saw cop cars a lot who look like they were investigating. (Not to be confused with the ones that lived there) My locks and several others had to be changed because apparently someone broke into the office and stole the keys. People not adhering to clubhouse rules and us then not having access for a while to clubhouse or pool. Communication, it’s hard to get in contact with the front office if you are not going in person. Emails and phones get no response. Also I wish more community events were hosted, in the year I lived there I can only recall 2 events. It would be nice to show appreciation to the residents. Overall it’s a beautiful property and has great potential, but with the rising costs of rent I just didn’t see the value in what you pay. Comparing with the community I moved to now I am confirmed in my choice."
