"Parking space scarcity is a common woe among tenants, exacerbated by a subset of residents monopolizing spots with old, decrepit vehicles. This group often employs tactics such as using multiple cars and rotating them, effectively blocking access for others. This monopolization not only creates frustration but also highlights the need for fair parking policies to ensure equitable access for all tenants."
"I have to start by saying that it is not the fault of the main maintenance employees, nor the office staff. I think the leasing company has to be the one to blame for much of this for not employing enough employees, especially maintenance, to handle all apartments. I believe the leasing company is extremely greedy for targeting low-income individuals and families, especially those that are people of color / immigrants with low prices, while allowing these families with children to suffer in disgusting conditions. All the while being gaslit and told that these are normal and functioning living conditions. There was a maintenance employee who I believe no longer works there that made me extremely uncomfortable. We had rats living in our walls. First of all, the maintenance request was not addressed for weeks, so we had to deal with a dead rat decaying under our oven and in our air vent. Meaning we had to inhale the decaying air for weeks in our own home, and clean up the guts that spilled from underneath the oven when we turned it on, not knowing a rat was underneath it. When the maintenance finally came, a young man pulled up my maintenance request and read it aloud while laughing. It’s funny until you actually have to have a giant squealing rat jump directly toward your face in your own kitchen. This offended me. Secondly, I am a young girl, and he came in without permission to and started to flirt with me. He texted me asking me out on a date with him later, and continued to come in my apartment without permission for other maintenance reasons. I don’t even need to explain why this is inappropriate, but it made me wildly uncomfortable as I’m a victim of crimes by men. As they just filled the rat holes with expanding foam, we still had rats living in our walls, and had to smell as all of them died one by one in our walls because they were not properly exterminated. There was a roach and gnat infestation as well. Our lease ended on July 15. Our ceiling collapsed on July 5. In May, we began to have a leak in our upstairs bathroom. Maintenance came to address the situation but the leak remained. I was confused, but put in another maintenance request. I put in three or four more maintenance as more leaks developed for weeks afterward. None of my requests were responded to or addressed. The maintenance said this was because there weren’t enough employees to help everyone who needed it, and because I asked that he not come in on his own. I wanted to open the door for him because I didn’t want maintenance to be able to come in my apartment if it was the boy that asked me out. I still don’t see why I couldn’t have just scheduled a time with him, which is what I suggested to several different employees separately. The leaks got so bad that about 8 feet by 8 feet of our ceiling literally collapsed into our downstairs dining room floor, including the sheet rock. The dead rat we had to smell decay in our air vent and tons of disgusting water were then our floor. To think what could’ve happened if we were sitting under that ceiling when it fell. It fell with great force and broke things that were sitting under it. The white guy who works at the office here called me a baby (jokingly, but no one laughed..) for asking maintenance to pick up the decaying rat for me. We could not live in these conditions and had to spend nights elsewhere after this. While moving out our stuff the pipes under our sink exploded too, covering our entire floor in rotting food water, so we had to move out of our apartment navigating decaying rat and rotting food water drenching the floor. Oh yeah, and the leak was still happening throughout all this lol. It was absolutely horrific. We asked for our last months rent back, and now I’m asking for it publicly. I shouldn’t have to pay $800 for a falling-apart apartment that I wasn’t even able to stay in for those 10 last days. The way we’ve been treated here is disgusting, and I’ve been treated like a Karen by y’all, when I’m just acknowledging reality."
"The apartments are not bad. But they don't even deserve three stars. move here, and pay $20 dollars or more from the laundromat every time. the machines break down with the clothes inside, and then forget your money. and the most important. you cannot have your own washing machine in the apartment, because they are not prepared for it. Obviously this is very annoying."
"located in a terrible part of town. residents are loud and inconsiderate. walls are paper thin and our building was infested with cockroaches. i went all winter without hot water while living here. the property is littered with beer cans and broken down vehicles. as a young woman, i felt incredibly unsafe at these apartments."
"Horrible from start to finish. Just to bullet point my experience here: -on my move-in day, at 5pm, I was told that my apartment wasn't ready. As in, no cabinets/countertops not ready, but they didn't give me any indication until I arrived the day of my move-in near the end of the day. They had to switch me to a different unit, leading to a nightmare of paperwork switching utilities, etc with virtually no notice. -my unit was infested with bedbugs, which I had to fight with management to even acknowledge, despite placing a jar of them on their desk. -A/C went out constantly, and at times took 1-week to fix. They eventually replaced the unit, but not until a month before my move-out. -General lack of care/maintenance around the complex. There was almost always trash on the grounds, and the laundry room was never clean. Attached are photos of my arms while dealing with the bedbugs, and the laundry room. Was lured in by a large apartment for the price, but if it seems too good to be true..."
