Preserve at Rolling Oaks

"Unit I was placed in was not unit I was shown, communication very unclear. However I have adapted to the unit and all is fine, EXCEPT the constant invasion of unwanted guest (Roaches). I have a pool unit and have attributed these pest to the location of my unit, however my apt is clean and many traps have been put down, but they still find a way back. Pest control came for treatment in October 2023, Nov, Dec, and now they are coming again in Feb 2024. Do not move here, all my appliances just break because they are cheaply repaired as is. Obviously it’s an older building, but still for the price, basic appliances should work and intruders (pest) shouldn’t be able to come inside month after month."

"This apartment complex refuses to fix the mailboxes!!! Many people don’t have acccess to their own mail! The maintenance team seems to ignore requests! I wouldn’t rent here. My friend hasn’t had access to his mailbox, his air vents never changed, and many other maintenance issues. The leasing office is decorated nicely but make no mistake look elsewhere! The nerve of them not to fix at least the mailboxes is mind blowing."

"I have generally enjoyed my time living here, but due to recent events, the past months have prompted me to express my unease. Unfortunately, my car was recently stolen from the premises, and I believe that the broken security gate may have played a role in this incident. The malfunctioning gate has been a persistent issue, broken over 80% of the time we have lived here, and it appears that the lapse in security has had real consequences for residents. I approached the office about this issue the day it happened, asking if they towed my car or if anything else could've happened, and the staff just shrugged their shoulders. They have NO security cameras apparently around the property, the gate is broken, and other residents' vehicles have been broken into. 3 weeks later, I found my car 20 minutes away completely torn apart and my belongings all gone. I have called and asked about the broken gate, and they said they're "working on it," but it seems it will never be fixed. I have emailed management about this issue, and I am still awaiting a response. My primary focus is not just on the loss I have personally experienced, but on the potential threat this poses to the security of each resident. We all deserve to feel safe within our homes, and the broken security gate is undermining that fundamental need. I hope management will eventually treat this matter seriously, but it doesn't seem as though they will."

"The leasing office and particularly Jackie went out of their way to accommodate my unique circumstance in eligibility. In an expedited manner, we were able to get me into a unit I'm really happy with - great value, modern amenities, quiet neighborhood and residential culture. Any maintenance issues have been promptly addressed and resolved. Lots of complexes around Austin are dealing with increased crime in their car lots (mainly theft & window smashing). I have a lot of trust that their clean and securing arrangements will continue to be maintained. Thank you Preserve at Rolling Oaks team!"
