"I apologize in advance for how long this is going to be but I am frustrated beyond belief and am hoping by posting this that SOMEONE will reach out to resolve this. I was initially so excited to lease here because the apartment we saw was absolutely beautiful. However, the office staff and the entire oakville team have turned this into the worst leasing experience I have ever had. The lack of communication within this community is appalling. Throughout the application process, we had three different people telling us different things. They couldn’t keep track of our electricity/gas account numbers and told us three different times to pick up our keys. Then, when we moved in we received essentially 0 information, didn’t receive a valet trash can, and were told we couldn’t have a gate fob because they were ordering more. We also had to remind her that we needed to sign a document for a month free of rent. And what’s even worse is the PROPERTY MANAGER did our move in. The condition of our apartment upon move in was actually disgusting. The countertops were sticky, the floors were sticky with debris everywhere to the point that our feet turned black just from walking around inside. (I’d include that picture but I don’t want pictures of my feet on the internet for free ❤️) The sink has mildew stains and PAINT poured down the drain. The bathrooms have painters tape around the shower head, hair on the floor, and a broken drawer. The baseboards weren’t cleaned, the blinds were broken, there’s paint covering every door handle, tape on the outlets, paint on the light switches. Just horrible horrible condition. Worst of all, the dishwasher is covered in mold and rust and REEKS. It is such a health hazard. I wrote all of this in an email to the property and it’s been about 10 days and I haven’t received a response. The only “action” that has been taken was the day after I sent the email the office called and asked if cleaners could enter the unit to “clean”. They didn’t schedule anything with us- just asked if they could come in. We said yes because we wanted the unit cleaned. We are not currently living in the unit so when we returned to inspect the unit someone left every single light on in the apartment for DAYS, left mop strings in the sink, the counters were still dirty, and paint was still on the switches. The blinds were fixed but the bathroom drawer was still on the ground. Maintenance left no note or any indication that they were in our unit. We went in to the office two days ago to get a response and were told they were going to talk to the property manager. Still crickets from them. I attempted to call the leasing office today but it seems you cannot contact them directly and every number goes to a business center who has no idea what’s going on. The business manager said she’ll “try” to get Mary the property manager to call us by the end of the day. When we went into the office, Brad the new leasing agent was the only helpful person. He was truly appalled that no one has reached out to us and he was extremely apologetic and got us a valet trash can. Sarah the other leasing agent is extremely condescending every time I interact with her and Mary the property manager, based on our interactions, seems like she shouldn’t be in this position."

"I am extremely disappointed with the Application process. My friend applied at these apartments and was told because he goes through a private renter that he needed to pay $250 to complete his profile. Not only that he payed the $250 application and admin fee because At the time of viewing the apartment, we were told based on his information that a denial was very unlikely. Had we known that he was going to be denied we would’ve never paid $500 for an application. He also spent over a month going through this process. This is just a waste of time when he could’ve had more time to look for something else. He has To vacate his current residence in two weeks with nowhere to go. Beware of all the lies they tell you on the apartment tour. Edit.. apparently if you don’t have enough revolving credit that is a denial. I wasn’t aware that apartments are “financed”"

"Great place. They answered all of our complaints in a timely fashion. The office people are friendly and courteous. I love the walking trail and dog park. There are convenient dog waste trash cans around. Their maintenance staff is awesome. The only issue is that the gate key does not work, even when you are directly in front of it. Aside from that, my family and I enjoy being here. Extremely cozy and pleasant."

"As someone who lived in apartments across the country, this is by far our worst experience! During the winter months, the gas burner that is supposed to support keeping the apartment warm would go out in the middle of the night. not once or twice but at least a dozen times for which a technician must come in to light it again while we freeze inside! There were some cases when fixing a running toilet would take 2 to 3 weeks. Every time we call, they would say that the staff are working through a list of higher priority maintenance requests! This complex doesn't include a washer/dryer unit in the apartment but we were given one at no additional cost when we moved. I should've known better that there is no free lunch! This washer dryer unit ended up destroying our clothes! Happy that we got out of here even if it meant paying extra! I wouldn't move back even if this was free!!!"
