Ovation Apartments

"This is the worst place I have ever lived. The front desk staff and maintenance trash. The apartments have roaches, bed bugs, and homeless people all around. In 6 months of me being here they've changed owners. Groups of men be out drinking and partying late with music up. Never fixed a water issue I have in my dishwasher, loose toilet that feels like it's going to sink in at any moment. They switched portals to pay rent and I complained about any issue with a low balance in my portal, on the 3rd of the month couldn't speak with anyone due to the office being packed. I went to explain on the 4th when I could to tell them the issue I was having. They told me it's not their fault, I was the only one having this issue and refused to take my rent even tho I tried to pay it online on time but had issues. They are now trying to charge me a late fee for having an issue with their new system. It's HELL HERE!!!! Do NOT WALK BUT RUN from this place."

"They have started fetch delivery which is a headache. They won't let UPS in the apartment. One of my friends sent me a gift to my address and it was returned to the sender. Some medicine delivery only gets delivered to your resident address not some fetch warehouse. Apartment charge around $25 monthly for a delivery service called fetch. This is ridiculous and absurd.... management should take note of this. This photo is borrowed from some other reviews."

"One of the most disgusting, violent places in Austin. The buildings are infested with spiders and roaches. Tons of homeless people, undocumented illegal immigrants, trash everywhere. Drinking and partying all hours of the night, parking lots look like mechanic shops on the weekends, parking is a nightmare, police are always on site due to drugs, fights and wanted people. Management does not care at all, email after email and nothing ever gets done. These photos are as of 3 weeks ago. Do not allow your family to be put in this filth and unsafe environment"

"Don’t move here. There’s too many problems to count, among them being: roaches, constantly changing management, people speeding in the parking lots, constant noise, unfinished and unsealed surfaces, sinks and bathtubs painted over with the “landlord special” and about a million other things. It costs way too much for what it is, and they keep increasing the prices because of all the “luxury” apartments in the area. But there’s no luxury here, only headaches and infestations. The only good thing is that the maintenance guys are helpful, but it’s not enough to make it worth it. Find somewhere else."

"I have now lived in the Mountain Ranch Apartments for a month now and I can honestly say that I love this place! All of the recent renovations that they have made here all very well done. The apartment comes with google fiber, smart home features, as well as a gated community. The community here are really friendly as well as the staff. My leasing agent Oscar was very helpful and made my move-in a breeze. The complex is in an ideal location that is conveniently located just minutes from downtown and Zilker Park. HEB, Planet Fitness and many other stores/restaurants are located just across the street. Overall, I have had a positive experience staying here and would definitely recommend to anyone."
