"Living here for almost two years was mildly enjoyable, but there were a lot of issues, which is why I'm giving three stars. Pros: - Location is amazing with several places to walk to. - The layout of the Ruby Classic #736 (3rd Floor) was great, lots of storage and privacy. We also enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. - Maintenance was timely and responsive, and their crew is very friendly. -When we weren’t "complaining", most of the management team was relatively responsive and somewhat helpful. Cons: - They refused to do any renovations, prior to move-in. Dealing with Brenda after signing, was not ideal. - Cabinets and baseboards are practically rotting. - Significant black mold was found under the kitchen sink after move-in. It was remedied with the removal of some wood and by adding paint. There is also tape around the drain pipe (see photos) - The access panel in the secondary bathroom leaked - we found more mold. The leak was remedied, but the mold was not (see photo). The panel made a very loud noise every time the AC came on and off. - Management sent a notice of non-renewal during our eighth month of tenancy, because they wanted to start renovations back up. Ultimately, they reversed their decision. This caused significant stress, since we just lost our dog three weeks prior and the holidays were around the corner, and would have caused undue financial hardship. The apartment is still listed as "classic", so it doesn't look like renovations ever were/are happening. - Apartment was/is listed online for significantly less than renewal offer (by almost $300+) - discovered after 60-day notice to vacate. Attempted to negotiate, but the ball was dropped on their end. -They work with RealPage, which is currently undergoing a lawsuit for price-fixing. - Exorbitant fees. Paid $1,275 non-refundable pet fee for three pets, which, I later found out, doesn't get applied to anything other than allowing your pets to live with you. Isn't that what pet rent is for? -Their "trusted" third party vendor (who operates out of a house and has zero online presence) claimed there was "heavy pet odor" after move out and treated the apartment. Instead of deducting the $65 from the pet fee, it was taken from our $600 security deposit. No way of questioning this even after management wasted my time when I asked for a walk through. - There are hundreds of dollars worth of fees you cannot opt out of such as cable, valet trash, and now smart rent (it was free for me). -It's not very pet friendly as you have to walk your pet on rocks - in case you're looking to roll an ankle or two. Grass is limited. - Little to no resident events are ever coordinated. While the location is great, the property management (most of them, not everyone) and quality of the apartments are less than to be desired. They are not as competitive as other complexes - lots of vacancies. There are other affordable options out there. The cons outweigh the pros in this case, and there is much more that hasn't been included here because Google reviews are limiting."

"Jessie the maintenance technician did a great job installing my elongated toilet. You can immediately tell that he has a lot of experience and professionalism doing his job."

"Had a positive and fun experience visiting Stonelake. Daniel Lara was an informative and generous host and gave us many options to view. The apartments viewed were all clean and tidy. The whole complex was very well kept and quiet. Of all the apartments we have viewed Daniel was the o ly one who seemed to enjoy his job, wished to do a great job, and gave us options that we did not even think about. Thank you!"

"I have not lived at Stonelake so I cannot vouch for the longevity of a resident experience, so I am giving 4 stars just based on the conversation I had with the very helpful leasing agent, Daniel. I think the fact that he spent so much time on the phone helping guide me through my apartment search displayed a great deal of integrity and compassion. He was patient, kind, and informative. Leasing agents truly set the tone and can transcend the living experience no matter how luxurious the complex is, so if the front desk is incompetent or rude, the granite countertops and soothing pools seem to go unnoticed. I think having someone like Daniel speaks volumes about living there as he went above and beyond to help me. Having someone like him will only enhance the amenities and interiors while improving your quality of the living experience."

"A special thanks to the maintenance crew. I have been here for 4+ years and they have always been helpful and willingness to help whenever needed even in hot, cold, good, and bad weather. Also thanks to Jesse outside of apartment maintenance rendered aid to jump my daughters car, thank you. Thank you for all your hard work much appreciation."
