Bexley 3Five Apartments

"Marven is always great with maintenance requests, knows his stuff, fixes things very quickly and is very nice (He gets a 5 star for sure!). Never had any issues w/maintenance requests. Feeling safe is an issue at this apt complex, though. My car has been broken into, along with many others, sketchy people walking around at night, etc. Concrete floors on the 1st floor help keep the apt cool during the summers, which is very nice. We've had some issues with ants & water leaking but no apt is going to be 100% perfect. Safety is the reason for a 3 star instead of 5."

"I’ve lived in Bexley3Five community since April 2023. From when we got the tour and now coming up on our lease renewal soon I have really enjoyed living here. I’ve live in several different apartment complexes before and I appreciate how informed the office staff keeps us. From news, to any changes, safety reminders and maintenance notices, they are on top of it. Everyone that I’ve spoken to has been really friendly and made me feel welcome. Just today I put in a maintenance request for our freezer handle to be replaced, and not 20 minutes later, Marvin shows up ready to help. He was quick, professional and kind, we even chatted a little at the end and the whole experience felt personable and easy. Thank you everyone at Bexley for working hard and I hope you know that we appreciate your hard work!"

"I've lived here for 3 years now and love the place. They have unique floor plans with several options for all size of families/spaces, garages to rent, great amenities and friendly staff. The maintenance team are prompt and friendly (shout out to Marvin!) as well."

"I have really loved living here! I’ve lived in a few different apartments in Austin, and this has by far been the best. Moving in was so easy and my apartment was so clean it looked new. Maintenance is always super kind and prompt. The front desk staff are all also helpful and honest when I’ve needed any questions answered. While there has been more crime in the South Austin and the general Austin area as a whole, I’ve felt the complex has always been very honest filling in the community on reports and when to be on the lookout for suspicious activity. Again, pretty much all apartment complexes have crime in Austin, but I’ve always felt they’ve been proactive, and I’ve never felt unsafe living here! Other than that, the amenities are kept up well and the provided trails around the area are great and safe for walking despite being so close to the highway. If you’re looking for a place to live in south austin, I’d recommend Bexley."

"I am coming up on 3 years of living here at Bexley3five and originally I loved the community and complex. It was safe, leasing office staff was great, and everything exceeded expectations when it came down to apartment-style living. I want to say within the last 6 months to a year of living here, safety has become my number one concern. My building is directly across from leasing office and one of the only buildings that is not behind the gate, so it is exposed to a lot more than the other buildings. We have multiple gates within the complex and they always seem to be out of order and wide open. With being directly across from the leasing office, I have seen a lot of sketchy things happening outside, such as drug deals, sketchy people parking outside the office; homeless people trying to break into cars, leasing office, apartments, etc. Myself included being victimized in a crime here right outside of my apartment. My car was involved in a hit and run/break in attempt being parked right outside my apartment in the middle of the night. Note, this is the SECOND time this has happened to my car since living here. I brought this up to the leasing office’s attention and I wanted to see what the security cameras had caught so that we could potentially find the suspect who had hit me or use for insurance purposes. The leasing agent told me “we cannot release the video surveillance unless an officer is on site.” Which was not the case the first time my car was hit, they allowed me to see the video and unfortunately, we could not see anything because my car was out of frame for the camera to catch anything. So I called a police officer and had them come talk to the leasing agent, and she was still refusing to let us see the video. I have been pushing them to have better surveillance and getting tighter security on property, but there seems to be no sense of urgency or care anymore with the staff here. They say they have zero tolerance for crime and that our safety is a priority, but they are all talk and no action. They don’t care about you or the community, they just want your money. This place has so much potential and could be great with the right people running it. I could go on about other issues going on here, but for now, please save your money and time and live elsewhere. 0/10 would not recommend."
