"If you’re unlucky enough to have an issue with your AC unit, you’ll have to call the office 8-10 times over the course of the summer and the problem will never be resolved even though the maintenance crew will keep insisting it is. If you aren’t comfortable with your apartment being over 80 degrees in the summer, I’d probably recommend you look elsewhere. Otherwise this is a nice apartment complex though. Great for dogs & the people are all friendly. Also several cars had their windows smashed while parked here overnight (mine included) but that just comes with the territory I suppose. Update: there was a fatal shooting in the Arboretum shopping center right by the stoplight yesterday and I’ve personally witnessed a man pull a gun on someone in the Target parking lot across the street. If the area is a selling point in your eyes, it probably shouldn’t be. Edit: I see Hardrock Canyon Apartments responded to my review! That's great, but it took them from June all the way until after summer ended to respond. They also haven't answered my last 12 calls to the office or returned my voicemails. I solved my own problem by not renewing my lease. I hope the next tenant to occupy this apartment doesn't have to suffer as much as I did."

"Many units were affected by the Winter Storm. Pipes burst in a lot of units. Even if you didn’t have bursted pipes in your unit they turned off your water. During the 2 weeks without heat or water, the apartment complex did nothing to help it’s residents. We were left to fend for ourselves. They didn’t provide any showers or bathrooms,or another apartment complex for us to stay at. They sent out emails telling us to file with our insurance. They still made us pay full rent. Meanwhile next door they had portable showers and bathrooms for their residents. For the pricing here you’d think they’d take better care of us. Where do our dollars go? It’s definitely not on up keep if all your pipes are bursting. Not to mention ,there are a lot of break ins,cars, mail boxes and apartments. Where is the security when needed? The only thing this place has going for it fast food close by. If you are going to pay top dollar go to The Domain or Downtown at least those apartments are new. Save your time and money they price gouge here. Unfortunately I have to give one star if I could they would not even get that. The pictures attached are from the apartments next door, the ones with good management."
