"Pros. Maintenance is great and super helpful. Wish we had guys like them at all our places we lived. Also you can’t beat the views. Cons. Not safe or quiet. Constant car break ins and car “clubs” or whatever doing donuts in the building directly facing the apartment / generally disturbing the peace to the point the cops have been called to disperse. Old with a paint job sadly. Not much else to say about this. 6/1/23 EDIT: you'll also pay for services they just don't deliver. At least 6 times in this last month the trash pick up which we pay $25 or so a month for just doesn't pick up the trash and by morning time raccoons have destroyed it all and left a huge mess for us to then clean up. 6/8/23 Edit 2: another week, another bag of destroyed trash from raccoons because management can’t find a trash company to do their jobs. Will keep adding pictures each time until they figure it out. Trash issue resolved - crime still an issue."

"I have lived here for almost three years, and I would like to warn anyone (Especially families with children) who would like to move there. There have been continuous break ins that happened every few weeks for the bast three years. Unfortunately, I was a victim of one of them as well. We all contacted the property manager many times regarding this and the only answer we got is that the landlord is not responsible to protect you. They are advertising this property as gated and luxury apartment rental and unfortunately, they aren’t even able to secure the gate at night and refused to take any steps to prevent this. I have so many videos available showing cars circling at night and people breaking in garages that I caught on my ring cameras that I was forced to install to protect my family. All those videos were sent to the property manager and unfortunately, they did nothing. Many people wrote reviews about this online and the property manager threatened them to terminate their lease if they didn’t remove them. When the time comes to move out, they will do anything possible to hold your security deposit and charge you unfair hundreds of dollars under any excuse. If you have children, this is not a safe community for your family."

"I would not recommend this complex. I lived at nalle woods over a year ago. It was a pretty expensive apartment for how far from the action it was, but it’s Austin. The complex is also super old. This would be ok for someone that doesn’t care about being far away from grocery, gym, things to do, and doesn’t care about paying a high price for an older apartment. But don’t live here if you don’t want to get reached out to a year later saying you owe fees because they had turn over in their office staff? I had paid all my fees when I moved out a year ago. I made sure to clear everything with the office. Now they are saying I owe them money because their office staff turned over and they are just getting around to collecting on it. And if I don’t pay in 30 days they will turn me over to collections. It’s really not my fault that their staff wasn’t able to have things figured out when I moved out. My advice you can find a better apartment elsewhere for the same cost."

"We’ve loved our time at Nalle Woods. The apartments are as lovely as the scenery and it was so great to have a wooded view and and an exceptionally quiet place to live. The office and maintenance staff are very much on top of things, very responsive, and as kind as can be! The amenities are great too! I’ll miss living here."

"After retiring, we downsized from a 4 BR home on Shepherd Mountain to a 2 BR/2 car garage apartment in Nalle Woods. We love it here! We are still in the neighborhood, but have no worries of home ownership. We are free to travel and know that everything will be safe and well cared for. The amenities here are resort quality and the ownership takes pride in keeping the place in top notch shape. Kimberly and her management staff are quick to respond and be helpful when needed, and they are frequently coming up with resident perks. David and his maintenance staff are always on top of things, and they keep the property in first class shape. The property is very well run and maintained. Why would people live anywhere else?"
