"Honestly the place is disgusting, employees just standing around on the phone with tables absolutely disgusting smeared with sauce, trash all over the place, I had to clean a table to even have a seat nobody looked or even said hello soon entering , my order was made perfectly how ever besides my shake missing its extra cherry then the man arguing a bit with me over it instead of just making it correct. I understand being busy and having these issues, we were the only customers at the time. The place even had black seats from peoples feet being on them and let’s not talk about the disgusting bathrooms, honestly it was disrespectful to the business its self. Doesn’t represent the look of the company or the employees who actually do their job, out of the entire crew I seen 2 people even wiping down their station and keeping busy during down time. I understand taking a breather but just representing your own work ethic this way just made me loose my appetite in general. I’m hoping for a better experience next time. I loved eating at this place back when I was a kid."
"Very unfriendly, use of kiosk to order inside, no waitresses, cleaning staff, register. Turned into a workaraunt. They don't even bring the food out anymore, they call a number and you come pick it up. Is this the new way of the world? Oh, here, get your own drinks. Good thing food is still good."
"It would have been nice if the person who prepared my burger would have thrown the onion peel part away instead of putting it on my burger. How could you miss that? It was literally spilling out the side of my burger. They were NOT busy."
"We love us some Steak n' Shake, and this location was great. They have changed the format to ordering at kiosks and then seating yourselves. It is a different experience from what you might be used to, but I was glad that they found a way to work around the labor shortages and stay open. The staff were all very nice, and the food came out hot and delicious. Menu has changed as well, but glad they are doing what it takes to survive instead of losing their footing and closing."
