"I lived there from December 21 till November 22 my brother was paying my rent till the end of Nov.22 then I needed to get a HUD apartment or what they call a tax credit apartment I was very low income. I had put my name on the list. About 6 months before with the good assistant manager Erica. They then hired a horrible manager named Cynthia in about June. At the end of September 22 I learned a 30% tax credit apartment would be available right at the end of November when my lease would be up. When it was time to give 30 day notice. I very politely ask the manager if she would keep me in mind for the 30% tax credit room that was still available.T0 my horror she put her finger up and back and forth and said you don't know what you're talking about you are listening to gossip and rumors there are no Hud apartments in this building! A flat out lie! Then she proceeded to tell me that you've had a whole year to find another place to live!,and then she said you should have been saving up your money!CAN YOU BELIVE THAT! This woman Didn't know me from Adam!! It's a good thing I had been saving my money. I had to put all my furniture in storage. And live with a stranger for five and a half months. But the story gets worse! At that time a new friend invited me to share her apartment at the Manor I was greatly relieved and we asked to share the apartment. At first the manager Cynthia said yes but she added that I was not to talk about her. Then three days later she called my friend down to the office and said I've changed my mind Kay cannot rent here and tell her that I don't want her on the property visiting anymore! This forced me to take a room at a local Motel costing me a small fortune. It also caused me to abandon my friends at the Manor one who was spending her last month there with Alzheimer's the other who was counting on my income to room with her. None of us have cars so we cannot see one another we are at a distinct disadvantage and very poor. This woman is a destroyer of lives and this is just one story of many I guarantee you. The owner should have fired her months ago as she continues to pray upon the vulnerable. At this time I am still staying in the motel running out of funds as I am on disability only. This is an update it has now been 10 months later and I am still searching for a subsidized apartment anywhere in the area between I-10 and 45I spoke to her boss Lee but he didn't seem to do anything.I'm still getting reports from friends that she is still treatingPeopleUnfairly and badly with vindictivenessRetaliation against tenants for making a complaint against the manager or the property is illegal"

"Now we all know the good reviews are created by the office staff! been there done that! My friend lives there this place is roach infested , elevators don’t work too many elderly not to having elevators working . Manager needs to be reported. YALL should all get together and reach out to the news and Houston apartment association . They accepting rent and the place is a SLUM. And Cynthia is stealing money if corporate is reading this check your books. It’s time for her to be exposed. She charging the elderly for snacks when playing bingo and using it for cigarettes ."

"I have consistently experienced the best residential support services at the Manor at Jersey Village. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable… Collette is amazing, she volunteers in the office and heads up Bingo. Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. There are community events like bingo, movies, and dinners where you can mingle and make friends. The residents are all happy, friendly and fun. I couldn’t be happier."
