"Aside from the one on Rockingham, this is the worst Dollar General in Davenport. The neighborhood is bad, the store is cramped, and the whole place just feels shady. I have only been in this store one time, and I could tell that this is not a good place to shop. The store is somewhat poorly lit, the aisles are very narrow, the whole place looked dirty on the inside, and it was a very unpleasant experience. I did not buy anything, because they did not have what I was looking for; however, the short time I spent in this store told me everything I needed to know about it. It does not help that it is next to The Gypsy Highway, which is a rather shady business itself."
"I rated it 4 stars because it's a good store but severely missed managed. No one wants to work there. The isles are crammed full of product because no one wants to work there. I feel saddened about quitting my job. There was a lot of controversy going on there. I miss my job and the customers."
"Took 15 minutes to scan a barcode on my receipt or manually punch it in correctly. With a line of 7 close people who only a few had masks on and they definitely are not enforcing any covid recommendations. Shelves were bare. Understanding during the holidays but I wasnt even able to grab. A few last tree decorations."
"The employee that assisted us was very friendly and helpful. They have good prices and a wide variety of merchandise. However, the particular location we visited is disorganized and feels dingy. It appears to serve a low income neighborhood. This is not a judgment, but an observation."
"Pleasant cashier, easy and quick to pick up small quantities of items when you don't want to go to the big box stores! I find several items a good price I need every month so I am definitely a repeat customer. Usually go to the one on east Kimberly about 2000 block."
