"After 10+ years of using Boot barn I'm very disappointed. I own a business and signed our business up for future discounts on my employees for boots and work apparel. We all got new boots on the same weekend. The boot barn really kept pushing Cody James boots to me but I wasn't impressed with the quality. I asked why he liked them and he said it was their "house brand ". One of my employees ended up purchasing cody James and within 3 weeks the leather has worn through on the toe. He went back to see what could be done and they told him he is too rough on them and wears them too much. They then proceeded to make HIM buy a product that you paint on the toes of your boots. It's very ugly and honestly overpriced. I don't understand why they wouldn't take care of this purchase when it's obviously poor quality leather. ( if it is leather). We won't be going back."

"The selection is great. However, I was disappointed by the service. To be clear, no one treated us poorly. However, with a name like “Boot Barn,” I went here expecting to have my son professionally fitted for boots. (He’s only 3, so he doesn’t really know how a boot should fit, and I’ve never owned a pair of cowboy boots, so I don’t really know anything about how they should fit either.) Instead of having a knowledgeable person come over and use the foot measurement tool to figure out what size was probably best for my son, we were told by the person helping us that “those things are confusing,” and she tried to tell us what size to buy by watching our son walk in them. Not a bad idea, but he’s only 3. What if he just felt like walking funny for the heck of it? So after she left, I flipped the foot measurement thing over, read the instructions on the bottom and tried to use it myself. I think I *maybe* did it correctly. But the whole reason I went to the store (a 45-minute drive) was to have my son fitted so Santa would know what size to give him for Christmas. I didn’t expect to be doing the fitting myself. When I left the store, I kind of felt like I was taking a bit of a guess on what size of boots Santa should bring."

"My first western boot purchase was in November of 2023 and the very helpful staff at Boot Barn made the experience absolutely successful. They were very knowledgeable but never pushy, and they have a decent rewards program as well. I have gone back a couple of times already to also check out their great selection of apparel. Their hours are good too with earlier than expected opening times compared to other stores."

"Can't leave review about product on website even after contacting them. Purchased a pair of Cody James boots a few weeks ago. First day of wearing boots and the stitching on the inside rubbed leg raw. Was able to take care of stitching but is a huge design flaw. Gave boots time to break in some thinking they would get better and they did not. Boots are extremely uncomfortable and have already failed in the heel. Due to stores return policy can't do anything about it so now have to find another pair of boots due to wasting money on these. Feel like company needs to stand behind quality of boots they sell especially for the price."

"My first time in a boot barn was last week. I got some boots that were a bit small and went in this week to exchange them for another pair without a receipt. Make sure you sign up for the rewards program and you can return things without a receipt without issues. I was surprised at how many boots there were. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They didn't make you feel pressured and were pretty laid back. I got the perfect pair of boots twice. They have lots of other merchandise as well. Check out the photos for more information."
