"Decent products at affordable prices but I really wish the staff would leave me alone. They are way too friendly and it makes me kind of uncomfortable. As a more introverted individual I just want to get in, get my stuff and get out. I'm not trying to have a conversation. And if I see that there's a cashier and I choose to go to self checkout anyways, it means I don't want to be bothered. So when the cashier walks up to me and asks if they can help in any kind of way that feels not only invasive but also like they're accusing me of stealing and trying to keep an eye on me. If this is some kind of corporate policy then it needs to be revised because it gives off very weird smothering vibes. I also don't need more than one person yelling at me "welcome to Five Below" every time I walk in the door. I know where I am. I don't need you telling me. Seriously the staff at the store act like they're part of a cult. It's too much sometimes. They need to tone it down severely. I would rather the cashiers be real with me and show me their true faces versus this fake customer service act."
