"Terrible place to live. We lived here 4 years. Constantly under new management. We started out at 1260 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath, by the end of our lease our rent was 1600. "Upgrades" included a screen on the patio & ceiling fans. Apartments are small, not worth 1700. Then, apparently we had a balance of $283 once we moved out. No one contacted us, let us know anything.. just got a letter in the mail from a debt collector. This is already being added to my credit. The lack of communication is CRAZY. These are definitely over rated and over priced for such a simple apartment. Parking sucks. The exterminator came to spray and told me our building is the first building he's been to that didn't have roaches. So please be careful when signing up with these people. They are honestly just out to rip you off and give you random charges that cannot be explained. Much better places to live, within this price range that are much nicer."
"I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and it’s been one of the worst places I’ve ever lived in. The constant changes in employees in the front office has been extremely difficult for anything to get resolved for tenants who have been here for a while. One MAJOR thing they do not disclose before signing, is the parking for this complex. It’s horrible and if you’re not home at the latest by 7pm, you will literally be sitting out in your car waiting for a parking spot to be available. You have several people who pay for a garage parking spot or a carport and still choose to park in general parking. It’s understandable if you have a visitor or a guest and you’re having them park in your designated parking spot while you’re in general parking. However, if you’re just taking a general parking spot away from other tenants without having anyone visit is wrong. Especially if you’re a tenant that already knows how the parking is here. Some fair housing laws restrict the office to specifically tell a tenant not to park in general parking, but the least thing the office can do is send a notice out to all the tenants explaining the parking situation and tips on how to create more available parking. This complex also has a new towing company who has yet to even show up to do their job here. We now have parking permits, but that has not resolved any of the parking issues. There’s multiple vehicles that have inspections out and have yet to move for several months. Furthermore, One of my biggest issues living here, is that we have been constantly harassed by a specific neighbor. Who chooses to call the cops and makes false police reports. Thankfully, each time police arrive they realize what is being reported is not going on. I’ve informed the office several times about this ongoing issue not only with Mr. Don Moore but with Ms. Francis and Mr. Ron. All who were previous employers here. I was promised to be a priority for a transfer to another unit when problems begin to arise with this neighbor. It’s been almost 2 years and I’m still waiting to transfer into another unit. Yet the office is quickly contracting people to live in the units available without making their tenants a priority. I have written several emails to management and I’m at a point where I’m having to do a Google review in hopes of actually being heard about these issues. Being a previous realtor and lease manager myself, some of the things that go on in this apartment complex have been incredibly shocking. None of the current or previous employees do walk-throughs to assess the issues that go on in this complex. You have tenants letting their dogs piss on peoples vehicles, or letting them defecate on the sidewalks leaving feces there. You have several people smoking cigarettes or marijuana in their units and you can smell it through the vents or when you’re just passing by. Although this apartment complex offers nice units, it comes with a lot of baggage that limits you to properly live comfortably. I DO NOT recommend anyone to live here. Lastly, rental increases are around $100-$150 each year. I understand trying to reach market value but increases like that each year are tough. I started out at $1225 and currently pay $1409 for a one bedroom not including water or extra utilities."
"AWFUL DO NOT LIVE HERE WE MISS CAROL maintenance is constantly changing and the office people are RUDE 2 years ago My autistic brother was walking my ESA dog our neighbor came up to my dog and grabbed his face!!! My dog has never bitten anyone in fact he loved people he was only a year 1/2 old since our stay there the kids threw rocks at my brother and my dog!!! There also was a black dog that attacked my dog!!! Now my dog is suffering with reactivity and doesnt do well with new people anymore!! Our neighbor told the office people to kick our dog out and the office lady threatened to PUT MY DOG DOWN First year we lived here kids threw rocks at our window and broke them!"
"This is the worst place I have ever lived. There is constant change over in management. I moved from CA 2 years ago, when we got to our unit it was filthy, very disgusting washer and dryer were so gross, when I said something I got an apology but nothing was done so I had to clean it myself. My floor in the hallway was sinking, mind you they had two weeks to fix it before my furniture arrived, they did not and decided that I had to move to another apartment that was gross. I paid for a parking space for 6 months came out one day and my car was gone, it had been towed and my spot was given to another tenant. They then gave me a garage for the same price and then a few months later I got a notice on my garage door that my car was going to be towed because it wasn’t registered (it was).. there was a lot of problems with management, I work from home and my upstairs neighbors were horrible to say the least I complained 6 times and it never stopped, from 6am till after midnight!. I finally bought a home and asked to get out of my lease for 1 month and they denied it so I had to pay rent and a mortgage. They will not work with you at all. After everything I went through that was the least they could do. My son also moved into a unit with major problems and nothing was ever taken care of even though it was in writing, his carpet was disgusting and then they decided to go into his unit when he wasn’t home, clean the carpet. His dog was home and was terrified as they continued to clean it, my son walked in while they were cleaning and was beyond angry as they did not have permission. It was very hard trying to move into a place without seeing it other than pictures because of moving from CA. We thought we were moving into a beautiful apartment based on the website. These are just a few of the problems we had. If you are considering moving to Lakeshore I would reconsider they are horrible!"
"Living in this apartment complex has been an absolute delight, thanks to the incredible team management. From the very beginning, their professionalism and dedication to resident satisfaction have been evident. The leasing team went above and beyond to help me find the perfect apartment that suited my needs and preferences. They were patient, accommodating, and made the entire process stress-free. Their excellent communication and willingness to address any concerns I had made me feel valued as a resident. The maintenance team deserves special recognition for their prompt and efficient service. Whenever I encountered a maintenance issue, they responded promptly and resolved it in no time. Their skill and attention to detail were remarkable, ensuring that the apartment was always in excellent condition. The property management team has done an outstanding job in maintaining the community. The common areas are beautifully landscaped, clean, and well-maintained. They organize regular community events and activities, fostering a sense of belonging and creating opportunities for residents to connect with one another. The amenities provided by the complex are top-notch. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the pool area is a fantastic place to relax and unwind. Additionally, the security measures in place give me peace of mind, knowing that my safety is a priority. In conclusion, I cannot speak highly enough about the apartment and its team management. They have created a welcoming and comfortable living environment, and their commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect. If you're searching for an apartment with an exceptional team that truly cares about its residents, look no further. This complex is a gem, and I highly recommend it."
