"A little disappointed with this establishment! My family was approved and toured with Canvas, and paid all that was required at the beginning of January. We never received a lease, even after calling and reminding them, but still no lease! I was told by the person (Aubrey) that it was on the to-do list and that we should have it by Thursday. Thursday came and gone! That left me feeling very uncomfortable. We decided to find another place to live on Thursdays evening. They got us approved and scheduled a tour for Friday afternoon ( still no lease from Canvas). After the tour and approval, we received the lease within 24 hours!!!! Still, no lease from Canvas, it’s now going on a week since we toured. I called and requested my money back since it was not our fault they didn’t send over the lease! Now they are telling me I cannot have my money back, because I didn’t give them 48 hour notice. If they had created a lease within 48 hours I would be living there now and not fighting for my money back!!!! So here’s the follow up! It took them 3 weeks to respond to my post. However, received a call from Brittni one of the property managers. She asked if they refunded the money would I be willing to remove the post. Sure, not a problem. Long story short. Post removed, got the check, took it to the bank and was told the check was not valid! I called and spoke with Aubrey, whom I feel has a very condescending attitude! She seemed shocked and appalled by what happened! As excited as I was to move to Canvas apartment’s, I am glad I chose to live somewhere else!!!"
