Parkways on Prairie Creek

"I have lived in numerous apartments across DFW due to moving for work, and sadly these are toward the very bottom of the list. The area is fantastic, the apartments are not. I have lived in two different apartments in this complex, moving from the third to the first floor. And if it wasn’t for the location (close to my kids school and my job) we would not be living here. I pay close to $2000 a month for a 2 bedroom/2bath. Pros; the maintenance team is quick. Jackie at the front office is always very polite. Cons; my washer in BOTH apartments has had issues. It leaks huge puddles into the floor & stops mid cycle so the clothes don’t get washed. Instead of replacing it they “fix” it, but it still has the same issues. I have called FOUR times about my dryer. It takes anywhere from 8-10 cycles to get my clothes dry. And that’s with a very small amount of clothing in it. They have yet to come and fix it. They only say they cleaned the ducts. Which obviously wroaches, and I moved in to this apartment in august. I called about 8 times in my last apartment as well. The pest control guy sprays the kitchen only and leaves. The front office claims “we can’t do anything about it because he is contracted out through a different company.” I’m sorry but when paying $2000 a month, you can surely do something about bugs. The hot water is absolute trash. I can not even complete a shower without running out of hot water, let alone bathe myself and my two children. The gate is left open constantly. Completely goes against moving into a “gated complex” for safety. Lastly, forget getting ahold of the front office by phone, they answer about 1 out of every 25 times you try to call."

"Jacklyn was great! She gave me a tour of the apartment and gave me all the information needed to apply. She was very communicative throughout the entire process and made my move easier! I had an issue come up and Jacklyn made it right immediately. Overall, this has been a good experience so far."

"Honestly if you were thinking about renting here please do not. The reviews were scaring me but my sister decided to go through anyways. WORST HEADACHE OF HER LIFE. JAQUELINE apparently has a bad rep and we saw that for ourselves. Shes rude, unprofessional and honestly why is she even working here, shes no help at all. If for whatever reason you were maybe thinking about it still go directly to Ana."

"I read some of the recent reviews about the service and was almost deterred from visiting until I called and spoke with Jackie. She was sooo nice, she explained the process and encouraged me to view the property. My son and I visited (close to closing time) and she was so welcoming, didn’t turn us away, took us on the tour and helped us complete ppwk on/site. I’m not sure how accurate some of these reviews are because the staff I met were adorable and very friendly. I did notice the gate was not working (1 star deduction) but no reflection on the office staff. We loved the place and will post another update once we’re all moved in."

"Shoutout to Jackie at the front desk who was so kind and friendly! She answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel annoying at all! The model apartment was nice, and the community seems safe and quiet. It's very cute and well-kept! Will update my review once I move in! (pictures attached are of the model unit)"
