Emerald Lane Apartments

"Lived here 2 years, my biggest issue is pests. Roaches are terrible despite regular pest control. My neighbor got infested with bed bugs, and they treated the unit WITHOUT INFORMING ME of the issue, so then I had to deal with a bed bug infestation in my unit. They never mentioned it to me and when I called to complain abt the bed bugs, they asked me questions like “where have I been” or “who have I let come stay with me” when they knew damn well the whole time where the bed bugs came from. They let me get eaten up for weeks before I was finally able to figure it out. My car was vandalized out in the front parking lot, when I tried to get video footage from security cameras, I was informed they are not functioning cameras. Management calling and threatening me with eviction all the time for playing music at a reasonable volume DURING THE DAY. Bathtub chipping paint and clogging up the ENTIRE two years. I asked to be fixed MULTIPLE TIMES, only to be ignored. You can’t choose to use the ac/heat until the management team decides to switch it from one to the other. Hot days in spring are spent without ac. And cold nights in fall without heat"

"Overpriced your apartment will not look like the photo. Roaches. When you report them, they. Question you extensively about the size, color, etc. Like YO WE GOT ROACHES!!!!! Not ok. They are lax and a starter if you are getting in your feet. Get roach motels it will decrease them. The females are gangster they will challenge you. I hate them the most. I have never had to live with them and honestly I having to kill one! The babies don’t I never even had known same with the males! But a pregnant mommy —god forgive me!!! Other than roaches it’s not that bad. I just don’t like Denton. And the parking spot buttheads….."

"We have only lived here since September of last year. For the price, the place is pretty nice. The new owners have made lots of improvements to the property and I understand there are plans for more. The apartments are older and with that comes a little bit of issues, but the manager is quick to act with fixes. The apartments are pest free. That was a BIG plus for me. Nice grounds. Kept groomed very nicely. I love it here."

"This apartment complex is the best apartment complex I've lived in and I've lived here for 5 years. There have been three ownership and management changes and the current owners and management is awesomely awesome and the manager James is fantastic. He works with the tenants, within the lease agreement, and so far everyone is doing great!"

"I have lived a lot of places. But I just have to say since James has taken over these apartments life has become so much easier. That is why I am giving him a five-star review. For one he is a real person down to earth someone you can definitely talk to he is quick to help solve your problems and he deals with any issue thrown his way. He's made these apartments worth living in. He is constantly making this a better place to be. His ideas and his hard work shows. You can visably see a difference. Emerald Lane is definitely on it way to being top notch. I would recommend these apartments to anyone especially since he has taken over. He has taken this property by storm. He is big on communication and I personally believe that communication is the key. When I do have to leave it will be one sad day, simply because having him as a landlord has been one of the best things that's happened to these apartments and to myself as a tenant especially. Keep up the good work James on making the apartments here on Joyce Lane number one. Rene'"
