"Great apartment good location"

"Such a waste of my time and fake customer service! I was waiting for weeks for a response. Out of nowhere the Landlord Jimmy finally contacts me. He genuinely answered my questions about the application process and fees. When I had asked him to email the application, he declined and said that the process is for me to come look at the place first then he can give me the application if I want to go forward. Smh. Obviously if a landlord has nothing to hide, he/she would quickly send out the application to start the ball rolling. We finally set up a tour date. I drove an hour to Denton, only to see 2 police officers on site, distress tenants, and Jimmy in the office with another candidate, filling out the application. He walks up to me for our appointment and leads me to the open unit. Note that when I had talked to him, I knew this was the only unit, available. I took my time to check the place, but Jimmy tried to rush me off. He was grumbling under his breath, in his language. The place was a messed, not cleaned, tub not scrubbed, moldy smell from under the sink. Finally, he speaks in English and said he needs to get back to the other person in his office. I asked him if this place was no longer on the market. He said it depends if the other person's application will be approved. I eventually followed him out of the unit. I was irritated because of his rude manners and my time being wasted. I left to my car but not before learning from the distressed tenants that they were robbed. Side note, there's no security system here."

"Apartment Area and Studio was great I’ve never had a bug/pest issue the apartment was always kept cleaned the only issue was the landlord was VERY rude and nosey he walked in my apartment twice without me opening the door for him when it was my time to move out I had a friends pet with me my last week of moving out out and he charged me $100 fee when he did an inspection on the day of move out it was ridiculous he charged $10 for each blind everything that he had said was wrong I had went over and fixed and he came back and said something else was wrong(the ceiling ect) he always debated and seemed money hungry in my opinion I would think before moving to hampshire apartments unless there is another landlord there are multiple apartment complexes in that area that would most likely be ALOT better!"

"Hampshire Apartments are very well kept and clean. During my time here pest control has been done regularly (a proactive measure, as I have not seen any pests in my apartment) and complex maintenance is done regularly. I never had any maintenance issues in my unit. Jimmy is very understanding and is regularly available. The only reason I am moving is because I need a bigger space. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for an affordable and quality space."

"This was my 3rd apartment in Denton, and by far the best management. My fiance still lives here and also has a great experience with them. Jimmy has always been very helpful and easy to reach. They don't try to take advantage of you here, or get as much money as they can like some places do. Rent is very reasonable, and any issues are always quickly solved. It's only a quick 10-20 minute walk from most places on campus too!"
