Jackson Chang Apartments

"I have lived in a number of apartments with a wide array of landlords. Jackson Chang are pretty darned good from my two years of experience with them. They tended to be extremely understanding of difficult circumstances and very quick to address most maintenance concerns. Should you rent with them, I suggest you communicate well and be respectful. I promise that you'll have few if any issues with the staff if you do. Why dock the single star? Jackson Chang is good but not phenomenal. Their rent prices can be kind of outrageous for the spaces they have and the upkeep of these spaces can be tenuous at times. For example, where I lived you had to use quarters to do laundry at the on site laundry facilities. The machines there would frequently eat quarters, leave clothes soaking, or just be completely broken down. Very annoying to unknowingly waste a buck fifty only to be left with a soaked pile of clothes. This may have just been an issue specific to my complex however. The people in the offices and my dealings with them were always smooth and easy. Probably some of the best to be had in Denton."

"Jackson Chang probably has the best apartments in Denton. I lived at 1500 West Oak Street for 3 years and it was literally a 5 minute walk to most of my classes at UNT. The rent is reasonable and parking is easy to find. The area is relatively quiet and very safe. The management is friendly, responsive, and unintrusive. Maintenance came quickly for any major issue. They do quarterly pest control so I never saw roaches or anything like that. I got my whole deposit back when I moved out. The only reason I took off a star is because of the wall AC unit. It was literally 72 decibels which is the sound level of a vacuum cleaner. I eventually got used to it but it was really frustrating sometimes. Despite the AC noise, if I had to rent in Denton I would choose Jackson Chang again because the pros outweigh the cons."

"I lived in Jackson Chang West Oak St Apartments for 3 years and had a lovely, peaceful stay. Joy, Ming, and everybody who work for Jackson Chang are super friendly (especially Joy!!), understanding, and very easy to work with! Their maintenance was good and very quick in responding, and the rent is very reasonable. My only reason for moving out of this apartment was that I wanted a bigger space. I always wanted a bigger apartment under this apartment management itself, but I could not find one, hence had to go for another management. When moving out, I got 100% of my security deposit back! I have absolutely nothing to complain about! Thank you Joy, Ming, and the team for everything!!"

"The best management EVER. My college years in adult life was spent well at these apartments. The most time I've ever lived in one spot. Quiet and safe since UNT police on constant watch. The other tenants respect the contract of no pets, no noise. Well at least while I lived there. Parking decal is per bedroom size. One per room essentially. I worked with Joy and it was a pleasure every TIME. My whole experience was a total blessing.♥️"

"This was my first apartment in Denton. Joy who works at the office was very nice and whenever I had problems in my apartment they respond fast. It was also cheap and quite a big place. As an asian person the wood floors were really to my liking. This was their 1 bedroom West Oak location."
