"The Alley Theatre is on of my favorite places to visit. I love plays, and the Alley is the best place to see one, second only to Broadway in NYC. I've seen plays performed better at the Alley than on Broadway! The actors are all just fabulous. Their quality of acting is top notch, and at times I feel like I can't believe I'm watching this level of acting in Houston, Texas! The venue is lovely, stage work is truly exceptional, seats are comfortable - the whole experience is a treat. I do wish valet parking was offered there, but that's a minor inconvenience. I usually valet at the Lancaster Hotel next door. If you are looking for a good experience to be had in downtown Houston, I highly recommend a play at the Alley Theatre, and get good seats down low by the stage! It makes the experience even better! Their prices are very affordable, especially when considering the quality performance you will receive."

"In the past 9 years we've attended multiple plays each season. Prior to that it was more intermittent. Very high quality productions & casts! Today, we had a fun Saturday date day ❤️ "Picture from Home" play - unexpectedly good - lots of laughs, tearjerker ending. Pro tip: if you're a student, they have student discounted tickets you can buy online & pickup at the box office (they verify your student id or other official student documentation)"

"Saw a Christmas Carol here and had such a great time. There are elevators and wheelchair accessible seating. They have a system that works with telecoils in hearing aids. They offer captioning on certain dates. Audio headsets are available for hard of hearing individuals without telecoils on their hearing aids. Audio headsets also available audio descriptions for those who are visually impaired."

"The theater is very lovely! I came here to see The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, which I highly recommend. They have on-site parking which was a flat $10 and had plenty of available spaces. They offer a bar with alcoholic beverages, water, soda and a small variety of snacks. The theater was more intimate so there are no nosebleed seats. Everything was very accessible. Staff was also kind and helpful."

"I attended a new performance of A Christmas Carol this year. It was excellent! The cast did a great job. I enjoyed the stage set and singing in this year's version. Also, the Alley does a beautiful job of decorating Christmas trees in their lobby."
