About the Business

Morris Cultural Arts Center

The Morris Cultural Arts Center, located at 7502 Fondren Road in Houston, Texas, is a museum that offers exceptional facilities for academic, family, and faith-based programming and entertainment. Named after HCU's Founding Father, Stewart Morris, and his wife Joella, the venue embodies the university's mission to unite the intellectual and the spiritual.

Designed by Studio Red and built by W.S. Bellows Construction, the Morris Center comprises Belin Chapel and Recital Hall, McNair Hall, the Linda and Archie Dunham Theater, and the University Museums. The two acoustically state-of-the-art auditoriums, the Dunham Theater and the Belin Chapel and Recital Hall, host orchestra and choral performances, dance recitals, weddings, and community events.
