"Friendly service at the front desk as well as the new manager. No issues with the new apartment. Pest control there every Wednesday as promised. They made sure my A/C is working even though it is hot outside cools to 70 F with outside temperatures at 116 F."

"I have been here for about 3 years and I had some major problems with the old management team after a fallout when I quit my job working in the office. My apt has been slowly breaking down since I moved here and I was never able to get a solution to fix it. But now that there is a brand new team there. It has been a complete turn around. I had a big problem that I presented to the office and Jennifer and Stephanie were absolutely amazing at helping me solve my issues. I was in shock that my issues actually got acknowledged and fixed right away. I was so used to being pushed aside and ignored by the previous property manager. But the team in the office now has certainly exceeded my expectations. I recommend these apartments with 5 stars. Despite the bad reviews everyone in the office has completely turned the way I view the complex. I used to go into the office and get humiliated by the previous property manager and they would ignore my work orders ever since I left on bad terms with the company. But now I go and I always get such a warm welcome from everyone. It absolutely makes my day talking to these amazing ladies in the office. Any problems you might have will get solved and acknowledged right away. Definitely recommend."

"HUGE WARNING!!!!! RUN!!!!! This is the worse kind of apartment to ever live in. Apart from the extremely poor condition of the apartment, the staff are awfully mean and rude. The biggest issue is the BILL you get once you move out. They won’t send you the bill, they just send it straight to collections. A bill of nothing less than $2k for cleaning. This apartment is a total scam!! They will rip you off and there’s nothing you can do to fight them. RENTERS BEWARE!!! RUN!!"

"Lived here from summer of 2019 to spring of 2020 and it was the worst experience I've had with renting. The first issue was the price. We chose this place because of the $650 special for a two bedroom but in the contract and on our monthly statements rent was set at $719. My roommate and I would find roaches in the apartment almost daily and you could hear rats in between the walls. The dishwasher was broken from the start and despite telling the leasing office twice a work order was never put in. The most awful part was when one of the ceiling showers began to grow mold and cave in because of a water leak. When I reported to the leasing office they said it was not considered a priority because we had two showers. However, my roommate's shower was clogged and despite several methods we could not unclog it. The shower ceiling went unfixed for almost two weeks until we gave a negative review and then the leasing office called us to ask to remove the review once it was fixed. However, the water pipe above still leaked because I would find puddles of water on my bathroom floor and water dripping from the ceiling after I heard the upstairs neighbor shower. After moving out last month we received a bill totaling to almost $300 of damages AFTER taking our deposit as credit. The bill claimed the refrigerator door was damaged, a fire alarm was broken (they periodically check them so they should have noticed it was broken, unless they let be to charge us), we left the bathrooms, bedrooms and floors dirty even though we spent an entire day cleaning and disinfecting considering COVID-19. I regret not taking pictures and video of how we left the apartment to show as proof for dispute. I would NOT RECOMMEND University Squares. There are plenty of other apartments in the area that would be worth your money."
