Quality Inn Kingsville Hwy 77

"Room had a dead roach. Pull out in suite had no sheets or blankets, also a lot of trash underneath. The fridge had a lot of crumbs. Used soap bar left in shower, this room was not properly cleaned. The next day, breakfast was completely done by 815 when it was supposed to end at 930 with no attendant around. We are very disappointed with our stay, unfortunately. We decided to give choice hotels a shot and was let down."

"First room we were given was dirty. Towels everywhere and bed messed up. We were moved to a room on the other side of the hall. Used Qtips all over the place in that one. A spider flew at me when I unrolled a towel. The A/C did not work. When my husband and I told them about it. He said "It's a new unit." Well it wasn't working. Absolutely miserable stay. Will never return to this hotel. I will stay elsewhere in Kingsville from now on. We emailed after our stay and got a "sorry". Do better."

"The owners are fairly new from what we gathered and are working on updating the hotel. They had laid new floors, removing carpet and replacing it with what looked like LVP. The floors were dirty in our room, like they hadn't been swept in awhile, and they definitely hadn't been mopped in awhile. There were splatters of toothpaste still on the bathroom counter and mirror but thankfully since we always travel with Clorox wipes, we cleaned the bathroom after we checked in at 10:30 PM. Some of the towels/hand towels were dingy, and the washcloths were dingy and had makeup stains on them, making me slightly uncomfortable with washing my face with them, wondering how clean they really were. The breakfast was ok. There was waffle batter to make your own waffles, scrambled eggs and roasted potatoes for the hot portion (I heard there was bacon one morning but not when we ate), as well as cereal, fruit (usually apples), milk (only upon request) and juice. The pool was cloudy when we got there but the maintenance man came (he told me he comes 3 days a week from Corpus) the next morning to adjust the chemicals and it did get better, but was never clear while we were there for 6 days. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked for or about something."

"The hotel staff are pretty nice tor their guests, but the room cleanliness could have been a lot better. Their was dust everywhere, trash under furniture, hairballs all over the floor, and we had to clean the air filters because we all started coughing and sneezing. The kitchen appliances (fridge, microwave, and stove) were incredibly dirty and looked like something exploded on them."
