"My daughter is in her 3rd year with NTDA. When we first started she was very shy and anxious about being in class. Ms. Rachel & Ms. Emily both encouraged her to face those nerves with courage. They didn’t shame her for being nervous, but acknowledged how she felt even while giving her the tools to deal with those nerves. She loves Ms. Maddie & continues to flourish. It's interesting to watch through the glass - I don't need to hear what's happening to feel and see the joyful, positive culture that Maddie is creating. When I watch my daughter and the other girls I hope they see themselves as strong, capable, & beautiful. I think Maddie speaks that into them even as she shapes their technique. The standard is not perfection but growth. The culture of NTDA and the staff is such a gift to their students!"
