Example pictures are as installed, taken after completion, with no changes, alterations, or cleaning We were looking for an Interior Design partner for decoration of our home, preferring a local company to the myriad available in Dallas. We reviewed our choices and came to two options, one in DFW and Living Right Designs (LRD) locally. We selected LRD as we prefer to support a local business. Initial discussions of the project went well, solutions to the design intent were developed, and we contracted LRD to execute the installation. The drapery panels themselves are beautiful. There were expansive fabric choices. The quality of the 4panel build is excellent – the stitching along the sides is invisible, and the weight, pattern, and backing create a beautiful product. When a set of the panels was not the correct length LRD replaced the panels. The installation is lacking in quality, aesthetics, and beauty. On installation the hardware finish was damaged in many locations. When I requested touch up paint, it was provided – if you have worked with high end designers before, you know the weight and impact of this request, and what providing touch up paint reveals about the designer. The fasteners were the wrong size, wrong head, and some were missing. The fastener selected left an ugly appearance. Beyond the installation quality, customer service excellence was lacking. When issues arose as they always do on any project, Living Right Designs approach was to blame the customer instead of focusing on solutions and a path forward that met both parties desired outcome. When contacted to discuss how the installation in the living room and dining room did not meet the mark, LRD blamed the customer for removing their suggested shades that would not have met the design intent. Issues the roller shades were blamed on the homeowner without inquiry or evidence. LRD did not understand the difference between blackout shade installation and blackout material on a shade, and this lack of understanding was blamed on the customer and left the install short of the customer’s desired result. Through almost a decade of working with VVIP interiors, company internal/external designers, new and retrofit, I expect both quality and beauty in an install and partnership from a designer. In this case I am left with hardware that must be refinished, an installation that must be reworked, and additional materials needed to reach the objective for which we hired LRD. With a total cost from LRD in five figures, and more needed to correct the install, the resulting product leaves much to be desired. Our search for an interior design partner to finish our home continues, especially considering proximity to Dallas. Waxahachie is too close to Dallas to have to tolerate poor quality or sub-par customer service and support."

"There are not enough words to express how amazing my experience was with Lacey Rodgers and her entire team at Living Right Design! We have used LRD for 2 projects now and both times Lacey has gone far above and beyond my expectations. Our first experience was with a master bath remodel. Lacey came to our house, listened to what I was looking for very intuitively, and came up with a beautiful 3D rendering and plan for my bathroom. After that experience, I knew she would be the perfect choice for design on our new construction build which would be a much larger project. She spent countless hours looking over our plans and providing feedback, creating renderings, walking us through the different types of slabs/stones/marbles etc and ensuring that our selections were a perfect fit for our home and our family. Our home took over a year to complete and Lacey was with us every step of the way. She is passionate about what she does and her amazing eye for design and detail was what truly made our home custom. She provided google docs and renderings that made selections very easy for both our builder and all the contractors. When we had a few hiccups in the build process (unrelated to her), she was extremely professional and helped us find resolution quickly. She also took time out of her day to check on us when emotions ran high and really tried to make sure that building our forever home would be a positive experience. When the home was complete, she also drafted a furniture rendering to ensure we made purchases that were to scale for our home.
