The Original Texas Steak House

"This place had been hit and miss every time I come here. My last visit was a big miss. The first visit was an incredible experience we came for Mother's Day and had a large group. The wife enjoyed it and we came here for our anniversary and that what a huge miss, my wife's food had to be taken back twice, first the salmon was burned and the steak was raw. So I finished eating and her food was finally brought back, salmon was fine but the steak was once again raw. Not even pink but completely red in the middle. Went again as a large group the day after Christmas and the service and food were excellent, went again just the wife and I because I had a craving for chicken fried chicken, and well we ordered and almost 30 minutes later the waiter said the food was talking so long because my wife ordered a well done steak, another 20 minutes went by and I asked the waiter why it was taking so long to get our order. His response, I don't know, I'm not back there cooking it, so I asked to speak with the manager. The manager also said he didn't know, I told him I knew it didn't take 45 minutes to make a well done steak. He said he would check, but by know I had decided that I just needed to go. So I asked for the check and then left."

"I ordered the Nashville Hot sandwich. What I received was three chicken tenders on a bun with some slaw on top of it. The BUN was delicious; however, I am not sure how anyone could call it "hot" because it was largely tasteless. We sat for almost 10 minutes before anyone even asked us it we wanted drinks. Then, when they brought them, PLASTIC STRAWS! Do these people not know all of the detrimental environmental impacts of these? And I wasn't even given a choice to use it. They were stuck in the drinks when we came. Overall, I'm disappointed."

"After a short wait I was seated, Daniel the server was absolutely great! Great allergy awareness, shrimp cocktail was good, steady refill on drinks. Ordered Pats ribeye and didn’t think much about it until it came out, I realized the server never asked what temperature, the steak was well done and that was very unfortunate. Never the less I asked for some steak sauce and chocked up the loss. Still great service, just a little mistake!"

"It's with a deep heart that I'm saying this. I've been coming here to this same location for 20 years and to day was the worst experience I have ever had. It took 2 hours to get our food. We had a party of 10 and the first 5 got there food first an hour in a half later. Then the next 5. Food was cold. The table next to us also a larger group experience the same thing. One waiter for 2 large groups. There was even a bug in my food. I know it happens but wow. I spoke to the GM and she did apologize and take care of it immediately."
