Hermann Park Pedal Boats

"Environment clean, weather was nice when me and wife came. Decided to go avail pedal boat ticket but wasn’t allowed to because we didnt have the physical ID with us. Its 2024 everything going A.I Digital, we have our Digital IDs on our iPhone Follio walllet but per the receptionist guy at the boat booth they need the physical ID card. This is the first itime it happened to us, we didnt have any problem using our Digital ID everywhere else nor have problem with apple pay. Whoever the owner is….. yo! You can invest for a scanner for ID. But yea even so… Physical or Digital people will fake everything if thats ya’ll concerned about."

"There is no weight limit posted. Well I had 4 people and no mention of weight limit until we for on the boat. And they offered a refund at the boat then when we went back for the refund they told us because we for on the boat we couldn't get a refund Crooked way to deal with thing I will not purchase again"

"I was super excited about trying out the paddle boats for the first time with my husband when one of the coworkers were unnecessarily rude. When we walked up & asked if they were still open, he dryly said, “We close at 5,” & continued with what he was doing. It was 5:20 at the time & there was one family left paddling. As we walked away understanding that they were clearly closed, another family of a different race walked up & asked the price. The guy who dryly told us they were closed, told the family the price instead of telling them as well that they were closed which insinuated that they were still open. As we slowly walked away, a different employee then informed the family that they were in fact closed already. I’d rather not take my chances again paddle boating at the Houston zoo with such employees as the older guy we ran into today."

"Awesome, place to visit. Took a stroll around the park and enjoyed sometime on the pedal boats ($12 for 30min). It was a little crowded for a Friday afternoon; ample parking; quaint little food shop near the pedal boat area and a couple little foodie bins selling ice cream and slushies. A really nice place and family friendly; would definitely return!"

"We rode the pedal boats in Hermann Park last weekend and had a great time. They are across the plaza from the Houston Zoo. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We noticed they had extra cleaning and precautions in place to keep the boats and life vests clean and safe. It was pretty hot and we enjoyed the spray from the fountain in the middle of the lake. Very nice experience."
