"A beautiful place to visit for those who love nature and wildlife. A good place to take your kids. It's $7 to enter or you can pay for a membership ( which I would recommend). The money helps the nature center to maintain and take care of the animals on the property. Armand Bayou nature center is great place to visit and relax."

"Beautiful place to visit and take a walk through the prairie or forest. The bat hike at night was also really cool to see the nature center at a different time of the day with great guides. I learned a lot I didn't know before. Highly recommend!"

"We visited with our grandchildren, we only saw bison, alligators, frogs outside, the walkway was safe and well maintained. The inside centre was good with lots of bugs and small creatures. Our grandchildren aged 7, 4, and 2 were quite interested,"

"I visited the nature center this weekend with my family and could not have asked for a more perfect day! The nature center is beautiful, well-loved, and filled with the kindest and knowledgeable volunteers. Hilary in the garden was wonderful, showing my niece, myself and my dad all of the plants, letting us taste different herbs, and giving us recommendations on growing them ourselves. There was a gentleman in the greenhouse who was so passionate about telling us some of the history and about the planting efforts and restoration efforts of the park. The blacksmith was also so willing to share his work with us and tell us about the project he was working as a partnership with an art project at NASA (I believe that’s what he said). I wish I lived closer to here and I’d volunteer myself if not only to be a part of the community. It was really inspiring and what the world needs more of. We will definitely be back for the safari rides and workshops that are hosted here. It’s such a special place that I will be recommending to anyone in the greater Houston area. Thank you for having us!"
