"Parking was CRAZY the day I stopped by in late February on a Saturday afternoon. That might be normal, I'm not sure as I was visiting from out of a town. It was worth the wait. I walked around the great path from the parking lot that goes around the golf course, and it was a great walk with lots to look at. It's a 2 mile trail around the peripheral, I believe. The trees were pretty, I'd say about 1/2 of it (maybe a little more) was in the shade when I was there in the late afternoon."
"Good place to parked the car for going to the museums and the parks around,limit for 3 hrs, I guess is enough time to enjoy."
"I park here and walk into the Beautiful McGovern Gardens. This a lovely place to walk around in. There is a mini mountain that you can walk around and up to the top that crosses over a water feature and fountain with reflecting pool. Nice free parking on the Herman. Herman park has nice paths to run and green spaces to wander."
