"The staff were all really nice and personable, and the doctor actually listened to my medical concerns. It was easy to get an appointment scheduled as well. The building is tucked in behind a school, so I wasn’t sure I was in the right place at first. The building is a mobile office, but was much nicer on the inside than I expected."

"I had scheduled a last minute appointment to be seen for a lung infection because my other clinic (also in Elgin) couldn't see me for another 2 days. I had been a patient at this location previously but had switched clinics because of the lack of a patient portal and outdated check in procedure. When the PA/NP (last name Martinez) came in, she pointed out that I hadn't been there in a while. I told her I'd switched clinics but before I could tell her why she very sharply said "this is not an urgent care" and that appointments were for regular patients only. I pointed out that obviously there was availability. She reiterated that they were not an urgent care. I asked what she would have done in my situation. She said she would have gone to an urgent care. Note, this was about 4pm and my copay for urgent care is $40 more than a regular clinic visit. I clarified that she would have opted for the more expensive option and she assured me she would have. She also said she would see me today but said in the future if I sought similar care she would refuse me. I was considering returning to this clinic because they now utilize a patient portal app but decided against it because of her unprofessional behavior. The other staff were great though!"
