"RUN AWAY. My doctor, Dr. Marelli Montanez failed to diagnose my pre-eclampsia after i had shared with her my concerns and i was showing very obvious symptoms of it. She just brushed it off and told me to stop eating salt without even looking into it. This being a result of my baby girl being born as a stillborn at 29 weeks. And now exactly a year and 2 month later i have a family member who has lost their child due to this place not properly taking care for their patients. It’s not worth it, if you are coming to this place for prenatal care please just take you and your baby somewhere else for the sake of you both. Don’t make the same mistake i did by trusting this place or these doctors."

"They recently remodeled and boy, it's BEAUTIFUL. This is a "satellite office" where doctors from different Houston offices come down weekly to visit their patients. I just had my postpartum appointment with Dr. Vega, her nurse was super sweet and she was awesome! She was informative, kind and I highly recommend her! I've been looking for a new Obgyn and definitely found the one! I was coming to this facility throughout my pregnancy to see my then obgyn, Jason Cooper and I do not recommend him. (He comes to this office Wednesdays.) He was great throughout my pregnancy (minus ALWAYS being late for appointments), however, he was not there for my delivery, nor did he come check on me the entire hospital stay (Woman's Hospital of Texas). He was "in the building", but failed to see me. I requested to see him in the hospital and was essentially "ghosted". Upon being discharged he was supposed to come and check me out and clear me to leave and never did. He informed my postpartum hospital nurse, after we waited HOURS on him, that he had "an emergency" at another office and we could leave and meet him there...nope. It's been a month and I still haven't heard anything from him. I highly recommend this office, there are several doctors here, a different one/two each day of the week. You'll certainly find one you like. Again, I highly recommend Dr. Alejandra Vega! After one interaction I genuinely wish I found her at the start of my pregnancy. Good luck! ✨"

"First, support staff cannot take care of meds or answer medical questions because the doctor is rarely here. You have to call the Houston office. You will 100% of the time get put on hold. They are rude, do not communicate, never return phone calls and treat you like you’re lucky to even speak to someone. Jessica the MA in Houston for Dr Montenez is the worst. I scheduled a removal of an old IUD and a new insertion to happen at the same visit. I called more than a month in advance for pain management meds to be called in to the pharmacy before the procedure. I called again 2 weeks out. Then I called not once, but twice, the day before. I had an extremely painful 3 days post-insertion last time and did not want to go through that pain again. Do you know what they called in? 2 - 250 mg pills of naproxen. That is Aleve for those who don’t know and Aleve makes pills in 500 mg doses. That might touch a mild headache, but not the pain I experienced and expected again from this procedure. On top of that, I am a VSG patient and cannot have naproxen or aspirin based meds now. They know that! They do not care if you are in pain, if you have issues with meds, or if you have underlying conditions which need special attention or if you have questions. I do not know why they are even doctors or in the medical profession at all much less in Women’s health. I highly recommend you RUN away from this doctor. The staff is horrible, the doctor has no real bedside manner, (she acted as if she was doing me a favor by seeing me every time I was there) and they often call to cancel or reschedule your appointment because they don’t want to have hours in Angleton that week or the place is getting remodeled."

"The receptionist and Dr. Montanez were really nice and helpful but they should get new nurses. The walls are kinda thin and they'll make fun of you and laugh at you because it's your first ever gynecologist appointment and you don't know the exact procedure of things. Probably not coming back if I can help it, I've never been so embarrassed in my life."

"I was told this place took medicaid so I was seeing a doctor here for half of my pregnancy. Now, half way through my pregnancy, the billing department hits me with the delivery bill that they say I have to pay in full and will not use my medicaid to cover delivery costs and the first payment off 600 plus dollars is due within 10 days. Well I have medicaid because I don't have thousands of dollars to pay to have my baby. So now....halfway through my pregnancy I'm having to find a different doctor that will not lie to me and actually use my medicaid to deliver my baby. Joke of a place, not for women they are in it for the money"
