Taj, our scan tech was so amazing with our child. He communicated very well with our child and was calm and patient for the IV and scan process. "I would highly recommend the Amen Clinics. Dr. Licciardi and Dr. Cornish are awesome! They truly care about their patients and they are willing to listen to you and your story and work with you to find out everything they can about your individual illness so that they can help you. "I’ve waited a year to write a review to be thorough. I saw some of Dr Amen’s videos and was blown away by his knowledge and how thorough he is. The Amen approach combines psychology, neurology, and natural methods. While you don’t work with Amen himself, the doctors here are incredible. Cost was a deterrent at first, but for many people, you can do a single scan evaluation to save a lot of money and still get the brain scans you need. I love that my treatment is not guess work. We have physical proof, scans of the blood flow and activity in my brain, to properly diagnose and medicate. Our family’s chiropractor said this, “What does it cost? Sure, it isn’t cheap, but how much is the rest of your life worth?” and that really stuck with me. I also will mention every person’s treatment is custom tailored to them, but they will not just give you an evaluation and leave you hanging. A year later, I am still doing 6 week check ups via Zoom, which are not free or cheap because insurance doesn’t assist, but it is worth it knowing we are being thorough and precise. I also do coaching with someone at Amen and that has been a great way to develop systems that work specifically for me to cope, strengthen, and harness my abilities the best that I can.
