As part of the Cook Children's Health System, we are equipped to provide comprehensive care for children with mental health concerns alongside chronic physical conditions. Our services include inpatient and partial hospitalization programs, as well as outpatient services at clinic locations throughout North Texas. "My ten year old son has been going to this location for 3 years now for psychiatric treatment. He is currently seeing a psychiatrist named Dr.Naggaredi. She is wonderful! She is very understanding and takes the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. What impressed me the most is that while she will ask me questions listen to my input, she always talks to my son about what is going on. I was also very impressed with Kathleen Cantrell, who did his evaluation. She was patient (with my son and me both),compassionate, and very professional. She took the time to understand everything fully. Her report was EXTREMELY thorough. It didn't just list his diagnosis, but went through concerns about his past and their possible affects, observed behavior, his responses to questions/prompts and what they mean psychologically, etc. Obviously it showed the test results/scores and the diagnosis, but on top of that there was explanations of each diagnosis, how they effect him, what I can do to help him at home, treatment options, and resources. His evaluation report has helped me in more ways than I had imagined. He receives amazing therapy at cooks as well, but at a different location."

"I took my daughter here to get help with medication for her depression and anxiety. The medicine she was put on was way too high for a low weight child not too mention too high for a child just starting on medication. She complains the medicine tastes bad and it is pulling teeth with her to take her medicine. Instead of doing what a GOOD Dr would do, her Dr sent me a letter stating that because my daughter does not take her medication (which is not true) and is functioning normally without medication (again, none of this was said and it is clear my daughter needs on medication) her services are no longer needed and she is closing our file. When is it acceptable to just toss a patient out rather than trying to put the patient on a new medication that will work for her? After 10 minutes of arguing over the phone with these people, I have decided to start the process of finding a good Dr for my child all over again. These people should be ashamed of themselves!"
