"I moved to Keller, Texas in March of 2019 and was referred by a relative to see Dr. Richard Ward. I initially saw him because I felt as if I had a sinus infection. He was very helpful and gave me the necessary medicine to clear the infection up. I liked his thoughtful attention and decided that I wanted to have him as my primary physician. I have severe hearing loss which is compounded by the necessary use of face masks. Dr. Ward has been very patient and speaks clearly so that I can understand him. I appreciate this so very much. Even with good hearing aids, I have often found physicians who speak so softly and speak so fast, that I leave their offices confused and frustrated. I definitely recommend anyone needing a primary care physician to see Dr. Richard Ward. I believe they will find him to be very caring and competent!"

"At first, I was pleased with the kind disposition of the physician. But, then came the problems. There were some medical issues that I had forgotten to mention during my initial visit, as I was overwhelmed and there was a lot to go over. I almost felt like the doctor wasn't really giving me the opportunity to speak about the issues and it seemed as though he was rushing through the visit. He referred me to several specialists and was told that a "Patient Navigator" would contact me within 3-5 business days to schedule the appointments that I needed. It has been 10 days since my visit and I have yet to hear from anyone. The majority of the messages that I sent to the Doctor through the patient portal went unanswered or a brief and insignificant response was received. Unless you're an otherwise health individual with little to no medical ailments that require regular treatment, I would recommend that you bypass Texas Health and seek a medical team that takes your health issues seriously and follows through with what they say are going to do for you."
