"I have been seeing Dr Baze for a few years now since I changed from my previous terrible Dr after seeing how wonderful she was with my elderly mother. I find her attentive, understanding, supportive, & knowledgeable. The staff there are all wonderful. Very friendly. A+++"

"Very disappointing, unaccommodating customer service. My teenage daughter needed an appointment on Monday. She had been ill since the previous Thursday so I called first thing Monday morning. I informed the receptionist that my daughter was a new patient. She said there were no appointments for new patients til December. What good does that do my daughter who had a sore throat, cough, ringing in the ears and headache? She didn't even ask why we needed the appointment. I explained to her that my daughter's paperwork had already transferred over to them from her previous doctor. She still insisted they could not see her now. I asked, "What is the difference between a new patient and one you've already seen when you have all of the new patient's paperwork?" To which she responded, "We haven't established care." Seriously? You won't establish care if you refuse to see her. So my husband had to take her to CareNow. When a patient has a PCP they should not have to go to CareNow. And Dr. Baze has been my doctor for a few years now so this was a real slap in the face."

"I’ve been with Hurst Family Medical for 10 years and I absolutely love the staff there. From the nursing staff to Candace to Dr. Baze herself. I can tell that they love their careers and they care for their patients like family. Having a team that you can turn to when you just are not feeling 100% and they LISTEN and truly want to help is what has kept me coming back."

"There were failures on every end from this place. First time I went in I had to do labs in order to get the medicine I had to be taking, shouldn't be an issue right? I was going to get it done through Lab Corp that my insurance covered. At the front desk I asked if I could have a print out of the labs for Lab Corp, they didn't give it to me and said they would send it themselves electronically. I went ahead and trusted them. Lab Corp appointment came up, they had nothing. They even double checked to make sure nothing was sent over to them for me. Went back into Hurst Family Medical and just had them draw my blood and send it off for labs to not further waste my time. They tried to charge me an office visit again for just getting blood drawn. I have never been charged an office visit at any doctor for the 2 minutes it takes me to go in the back and have blood drawn. I messaged them, I got no response buy they dropped the charge. I ended up switching jobs and so couldn't come back in for several months because I didn't have any time to take off until 6 months in. I went back and had to go through the process again. I confirmed with the doctor that I would not be charged for the visits I come in just for them to draw the blood for labs. She said I wouldn't be charged a visit, just the bill from the lab. I had to go in 3-4 times while they dialed in the medicine dose that worked for me. Fast forward 4 months(I already paid for all the labs), I get a bill for a $25(after the insurance reduced rate) for a office visit. I called and they couldn't tell me anything. They said they would have to check with their "office manager" didn't hear anything for a couple weeks and finally get a call telling me that they do charge if insurance doesn't cover it. I told them I was told they didn't bill office visits for just getting labs done and everywhere I been also never charged for a visit for that. I even mentioned that the labs already charge me $7(after insurance reduced rate) for them drawing the blood...which is all they did in that visit! They didn't take vitals or anything else. They said they still bill for a visit even through I was told they do not. I advised to cancel my upcoming appointment as I don't appreciate being lied to and this felt like a money grab seeing as how other places do not charge for this and I am already charged for the one thing they do when I come in."
