"When consulting with my neurologist for my Bell's Palsy, he didn't give me much hope as far as my recovery was going. I was completely unable to move the entire right side of my face. He told me that because of the progress I had made up to that point, it could take many months to recover if I was to recover at all. I told him that I was thinking about acupuncture for treatment and he kind of shrugged it off and said that he didn't really believe in it but I was welcome to try it if I wanted to. I am so glad that I did! After the first treatment, I was able to see change. The movements were tiny but before that I was unable to move the right side of my face at all. It was my progress! After my second treatment, the movement in my face was much more noticeable and the pain that I would get was much less frequent than before. Today was my third treatment and I'm feeling really good.
