"One of the worst hospitals in the area I would advise seeking other medical care. After visiting the emergency room was told that there was nothing that was wrong and also the staff did not listen to anything that I was telling them. After going to another healthcare facility, who it was later found out I had a TIA. Even the facility in Decatur Staff felt it was funny to laugh at me when I told him I did not feel safe with their care. Also, Decatur facility they several vials of blood and lost two of them. This also seem to be a very amazing thing to them. Even after releasing quite a few staff members there are still some there that are only there for an easy paycheck."
"After surgery and waking up in excruciating pain, forced overnight, all nurses throwing everyone under the bus. No sleep interruptions literally every hour- but then ring first thing in AM- waiting 20 mins. It’s no wonder the trust in medical professionals has plummeted! Won’t ever go back"
"My name is Bob McCleary. I’m a 76 yr old male. I was sent to Medical City in Decatur by Dr. Risvi. My symptoms are shortness of breath and extremely weak. I’ve had many hospital stays. Many surgeries. This is by far the greatest hospital experience I’ve ever had. From the very first step until I left the hospital everything and everyone there is great. From Pre-op to exit and everything in between they care 100 percent about the patient. Very professional and courteous in all the small details. Thank you for the excellent care I received."
