Named after the Greek word meaning "to be pregnant," Kueo is a place where families are valued and cared for throughout their journey. From prenatal visits with your midwife to postpartum support, we are here to guide you every step of the way. Our services include routine OB labs, sonograms, birth classes, nutrition education, and more.
The journey of Kueo Birth Center began with a divine calling, as our founder Patty followed her passion to become a midwife. Despite challenges and setbacks, Kueo Birth Center opened its doors in June 2019, welcoming hundreds of families. We continue to grow and expand, with plans to build a new location just outside of Decatur city limits.
Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Decatur offers a friendly and vibrant community for families. Our birth center is conveniently located near a hospital, ensuring quick access to medical care if needed. Patty, our lead midwife, is a member of the Association of Texas Midwives and North Texas Midwives, providing education and support for student midwives.

I received much more support with the midwives here than I did with my first born with an OB and hospital birth. "The midwives at Kueo are wonderful. If I was ever feeling anxious or needed anything they were available and attentive to my needs. They are very passionate and compassionate about pregnancy and birth. We felt very confident and assured in their care. Though I ended up having to deliver elsewhere (outside of everyone's control) they still checked in on me during my induction and prayed for a healthy baby. It meant so much to us. They truly love what they do."
"After having 2 natural hospital births, I decided to go with a birth center for our 3rd. Patty and her ladies are great! This experience was a very hands off, let your body do its thing but also keeping an eye on growth, vitals and health. They are informative and easy to talk to and their office is very homey and cozy. When it came time to finally have the baby, they were very supportive and alert to how I was progressing. We were there less than 7 hours and then able to head home, settle in and enjoy our new addition."
