"I had such a terrible experience! We attempted to check in early, but were informed that it wasn't possible due to ongoing cleaning. Eventually, we were allowed to enter our room 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, but to our dismay, it was extremely dirty. There were items scattered all over the floor, the dryer was full, and there was even a half-eaten pizza in the bedroom! To make matters worse, I was only refunded $16 for the first night. The construction noise was incredibly loud, and the sheer blinds in the living room made it nearly impossible to watch TV during the day. It would have been helpful to have a fan, as there was none provided, and the bedroom never cooled off, so sleeping was near impossible. However, the worst part of the experience was the non-functional elevators. The key card that was supposed to be used to select our floor never worked for anyone, which was extremely frustrating. We had to ride to random floors, get off, get back on, and hope that the card would work. Additionally, I tried to book a massage twice during my stay. Despite the website stating that there were available slots all day, they only offered me 6 or 7 pm appointments. On the second day, they didn't even respond to my request. This added to my disappointment. I had such high expectations for this hotel, but now I am extremely let down. I will definitely never stay here again, and I don't think I'll be considering visiting Austin in the future after this terrible experience. Since I am unable to reply to your response I have no choice but to leave it here. As a business owner myself, I would offer my customer a partial refund. Your response does nothing to compensate me for the hassle of arriving to a dirty room after a long day of travel. I would expect the first night of my stay to be refunded."

"Despite its name, this is NOT a hotel, but an apartment rental. If you’re visiting Austin for a weekend then I think this place would be ok. But with a young child and a week long stay, I didn’t find it suitable for our needs, and I did encounter a few issues. Firstly, there is absolutely no housekeeping or cleaning service until you’re checked out and well on your way. With a toddler, this was hardly ideal. I checked the “hotel” site and found no mention of this. Secondly, there’s no help with your luggage. We had to wait for a luggage trolley and take our own stuff up. While the apartment was spacious, the bedroom was rather small and there was nowhere to store our clothing. Not even a clothes hanger. We had our suitcases open in the living room for the entire week. There wasn’t anywhere to hang a jacket either, so we had ours lying at the entrance. There was a broom available, but it was so small, it looked like it belonged to a children’s play set. Every time I picked it up to sweep, my 2-year old said “no mama, that’s for babies”. We got 3 trash bags in the kitchen, and one in the bathroom for our entire stay. Considering how much packaging literally everything comes in, I thought this outrageous. Also, you have to take out your own trash to the chute down the hall. The shower didn’t drain well. When I looked down to check, I saw a huge clump of hair stuck in there. I had to pull it out with toilet paper and it was gross. There is a plunger next to the toilet which we had to use at least twice during our stay because the toilet backed up. And then the only place to rinse or clean the plunger afterwards is in the bathroom sink. Ugh. One of the plugs in the bathroom sink were broken, revealing the yucky looking thing underneath. There were no cleaning products besides dishwashing liquid and a bottle of anti bacterial spray, which was ok, but I had to ask for a cloth to at least wipe surfaces. The carpet in the living room could use a good clean. After just a few days with a toddler, I was struggling to keep crumbs and other bits off it as the “broom” was just not good enough. Lastly, the area around the building is a tad awkward to walk to and from, especially with a stroller. There is also dog mess everywhere outside. While this is not the “hotel’s” fault, I did find it a bit disgusting that the mess was walked into the building and the mat at the entrance had quite a bit on it that people were just walking in and out. Overall, I can’t say I recommend this place for anything over 2-3 days, and especially not with young children."

"Stayed in condo 1909 for four nights in October, 2023. We had a partial view of the river from the balcony both by looking left or right (the view in front to the river is blocked by another high rise). One bdrm had a king and a walk in shower, the other had a queen bed and a tub with shower. There are large TVs in the living room plus both bedrooms. The balcony runs the width of the living room. Really nice leather sofa and comfortable platform beds. We found that anything missing that was advertised as being provided was quickly provided upon request - eg the complementary bottled water. I worked out in both the gym and the yoga studio. The gym has three treadmills, three ellipticals, a stairclimber and two Pelaton bikes as well as free weights and a universal gym. Nice to have those options on vacation. The pool is only 4 ft deep and that part is maybe 20 ft long. We only swam once due to the rain. Ask at the front desk if you want the fireplace turned on. The coffee shop in the lobby is hella expensive for coffee - $4.33 for a 16 oz drip - but you can’t beat the convenience. The location is very close to Rainey Street. We Ubered a lot because my friend has had a knee replacement. If I were there alone, it would have been very walkable. No hesitation in recommending this place to others."

"Nice units. Was surprised I didn't hear a lot of neighborly excess noises. The rooms were clean. They said free water but there wasn't any in the room complimentary. Water pressure on shower was not great. Other than that, everything else was great with the location, easy access of getting in and out. The pool was a bit crowded but it was a nice rooftop pool. This place is great for younger college crowds or a place to post up with some friends to explore the nightlife."
