Canopy by Hilton Austin Downtown

"Hotel is modern chic with spacious well-designed rooms. Staff is friendly and always looking to be helpful. Unfortunately, the noise level is completely unbearable as our room, #305, is effectively in the middle of an absurdly loud bass pumping open air night club, Star Bar. My wife used the hotel provided ear plugs and got some sleep, but I had to wait out the Star Bar closing around 2am. The ear plugs are a warning that you should not stay here unless you are clubbing. Nothing the hotel can do beyond fire whomever picked this location for a hotel. We are ending our stay early to move to another hotel. As a Hilton Honors member with a history of great experiences, many at other Canopy hotel locations, this was the most disappointing hotel experience that I have ever had."

"I'm coming in town to be with a friend during her surgery, and I must take a moment to thank Brandon from the bottom of my heart for making our planning and stay as accommodating and comfortable as humanly possible. I am a native Texan, and I can tell you that I will always stay at whatever hotel this kind young man works. It's just beyond words how this gentleman goes leaps and bounds for his guests. If you are looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay, just stay here. Perfect location, perfect people."

So many great spots around the hotel to hang out inside and out. The free champagne, cookies, and hot chocolate were great touches! Will be looking for Canopy hotels wherever I go now."

"This is a top notch Hilton Brand hotel. I really like the boutique style hotels and the amenities they offer. The staff are always friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable regardless whether it’s for business or pleasure. The Nespresso coffee in the rooms is a massive plus. Check was very pleasant and they offer you a glass of champagne. The valet service is very quick and professional. The restaurant at the hotel offered a wide variety of fresh options. There’s plenty of other options within walking distance if you want to venture outside of the hotel. Lastly, the gym has everything needed to get your day started. I would highly recommend staying here."

"Loved the bikes! We used them to bike all over and got to see a lot of the city along the river and go to restaurants, of which there are a ton in the area. The staff was super friendly and helpful, holding onto our stuff the whole day after we had checked out and they never gave us a hard time about coming back to get things/drop stuff off. Nice, clean rooms, warm pool in winter, cozy adjacent restaurant with good food and nice outdoor area. We requested a quiet room and had no issues, didn’t even use the complimentary ear plugs or white noise machine."
