Holiday Inn Austin Midtown, an IHG Hotel

"I personally would never ever stay at this hotel again in my life. I had the worst experience with their rooms from stains in their beds, running toilet water all night even the shower, not working correctly, night stand plug outlets not working, refrigerator not working/cold & etc. I even had other guest items leftover in the room from previous. I had to switch my room five times due to the things I stated above and instead of having great customer service, they had the worst customer service I ever had to deal with, they started to take out their anger and frustration on me because of The inconvenience they caused me. I was even called racist name. When I asked to speak to the Manager I thought I would have a better transition, but it was even worse. The Manager yelled at me, got in my face and was arguing with me even one of their associates start to cuss me out in front of the manager, and the manager said nothing. This hotel has many issues wrong with the rooms, as well as an unprofessional staff."

"I highly recommend the customer service is excellent!! Mrs Griselda and Mrs Kim welcome us with open arms!!! The rooms are excellent!! Everything is so very clean being the hotel old but I can tell there staff takes care of it!!! Enjoy the man in the bar he has excellent customer services , he is always with smile and makes you feel like “” don’t worry just sit and relax” Enjoy the breakfast the front sweet girl has excellent customer service!!! it’s worth it !!! "The facility is showing its age. The room was comfortable, but... There is a balcony, how quaint. There may have been more scenic vistas when this was built, but the balcony serves no purpose now, except to stick your head out to check on your truck. It was especially blustery when I was there. The wind whipping around the corner had the glass sliding door howling like a haunted house. Next big remodel, I suggest pushing the room out to make it larger, utilizing the balcony for more practical space. And in this day of complimentary breakfast with the obligatory Texas shaped waffles, what's up with the fifteen buck Green Eggs & Ham. It was all very good, but it ain't the Sunday brunch at the Galvez."

"Upon arriving at Holiday Inn Austin Midtown, I was greeted by a  friendly staff at the reception. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and  I was informed that my room had been upgraded, which instantly set a positive tone for my stay. Entering the room, I was delighted by the spacious environment.  The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the extra space allowed for a more relaxed and enjoyable stay. I spent the next day exploring Austin, and the hotel's location made it easy to access popular attractions and landmarks in the city. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming accommodation option in Austin."
