Sentral East Austin at 1630 E. Sixth

"I traveled to Austin for my birthday and stayed at this location! It was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The ladies at the front desk were veryyy professional, kind, accommodating and made sure to explain everything to me in regard to unexpected delays in checking in! The room was extremely clean, smelled amazing, very pretty, comfortable, relaxing and made me feel like I was right at home! The parking garage was the only issue as it is very steep and narrow, so if you are driving a wider vehicle or SUV, you may have a few issues maneuvering in and out of the garage. However, I felt that my vehicle was very safe parked in the garage due to the great security features associated with my stay! That helps make the parking situation feel worth the trouble! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here and every time I visit Austin, this is where I plan to stay!"

"Do not stay here. This was a hotel option through Coupa booking software and it is not a hotel. It is a disgusting apartment complex with trash filling the hallways. It reeks of trash. The beds are uncomfortable little cots. Oh and if you check in past business hours you have to wait for someone to text you back to give you entry instructions so I waited outside in 40 degree weather at 1 am on 6th street for a text message with check in instructions. Extremely unsafe, disgusting property."

"Love it! Everything about this place is very clean. Staff is very quick to help you solve ay issues that may arise and get things settled as quickly as possible. Maintenance is also very quick to respond to any issues that you may within a day unlike most places that may takes days or weeks. Emme and Pennie who work in front make living here a breeze, really helpful, and kind every time I walk into this place."

"An absolute gem on 6th Street! I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of all the action on 6th Street. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!"

"I was visiting Austin for ACL weekend and unfortunately my Airbnb was cancelled the day I was supposed to check in. Luckily I was able to book at Sentral that same day. The staff was super friendly and helpful and even let me check in almost an hour early. The location is great, within a 10 minute walk there’s restaurants, coffee shops, bars/breweries and shopping. The downtown area and W 6th are only a 10-15 minute Uber ride or a 30 minute walk. The rooms are also great, they’re essentially apartments instead of hotel rooms. I’d definitely recommend Sentral to anyone visiting Austin."
