"The room smelled like real bad mildew. They need to air the rooms out and check them before letting anyone get the access to them. Also the gym was one of the reasons we chose this hotel over any other, but the treadmill and bike were not working at all. Big disappointment. These are two areas that need to be checked on before having guests come."

"The person at the front desk and “her boss” were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean, breakfast was made from scratch and VERY good. Guest laundry room, which we did use was VERY clean. Our children live not far from thier location and we will Definately be back and choosing to stay here again."
"My husband and I stayed here for 8 days while visiting my family. First and foremost, the staff and customer service on site was excellent. We had an issue with our heater during a cold snap and they were quick to offer a new room (we declined because we weren’t wanting to repack). They called to check and make sure we were comfortable and didn’t change our minds later that evening. They greeted us every time we came down or left. The bed was probably the best part of our stay, completely unexpected for a 2 star accommodation. I’ve stayed at some very nice places and this bed ranked up there in terms of comfort and sleep quality. The free breakfast was excellent! Again, didn’t expect this from a 2 star place. There was some updating going on while we were there but the noise wasn’t too bad considering it was outside our window. The workers were very considerate. Definitely will make this our regular spot to stay when I’m down visiting my family again. I give this 5 stars for value, comfort, location, cleanliness, and staff. The *only* con was not having an elevator which was only an issue when hauling my suitcase in and out, so it’s a very minor con. If mobility is an issue, request a bottom floor and make sure they have it available before arriving."
