Hyatt Centric The Woodlands

"I loved every minute of being here. First of all The Woodlands is a magnificent neighborhood. There is security everywhere and it was very clean and lively but still quiet at night. I loved the room we had, it was very spacious and everything worked really well. The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful and even made sure to give us our favorite room before our flight back to Germany at the end of our stay in the beginning of January. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!"

"For being a Centric, I had higher hopes. While the staff was generally attentive and would go out of their way to say Hi, there were a handful of concerns that shouldn't have been. Right away upon arriving, there is a limited area to 'park' to drop off bags. As there was room for 2 cars parked parallel to the curb, it was assumed to park that way as it's in a busier mall area. No sooner had I parked, then the hotel attendant rushs over and tells me I'm parking wrong and to back perpendicular to the curb with front hanging out into the street more than I felt comfortable with. Wasn't quite sure if attendant was there to actually help or angling for a tip, which made getting bags out of the car cumbersome as I usually do things myself. Hotel was alright in general, but nothing special. Biggest concern came the last night/morning as there was a very loud man and he so happened to room next to us. In a building choice I never appreciate, our rooms had one of those pass through doors that I don't think anyone ever thinks to soundproof or build out of anything more penetrable than cardboard. We could hear his very loud, animated conversation with someone at 5 a.m. while in his room. Unfortunately, this woke our party of 5 up when we had just flew into Houston the day before and had a early morning depature from the hotel. Upon checking out, we learned that the party next door to us had caused quite a few people on our floor to complain and as a feeble attempt to rectify, offered breakfast to our family as we were leaving. We were unable to partake due to our plans. After checkout, we were billed $6 each for water, which the front end staff gladly gave to us and said was complementary. Reaching out to management was an exercise that was not worth the effort. Management needed numerous emails to rectify the water issue and never fully addressed the noisy neighbor. Not the kind of treatment I've had before with a Centric."

"Breakfast was delicious, room was nice and spacious and the location is awesome! Charles is very nice and he made me feel right at home and got me checked in pretty quickly. He also recognized me for my Globalist status and gave me a nice upgrade due to my status. Will stay here again in the future the next time I am in Houston."

"Let me just say, this location is a must stay. As a Globalist I have stay at a LOT if Hyatt properties and this one has made it to the top 5 US locations list. The location is superb and the service and staff is bar none. I mean the Hyatt brand is beyond my favorite and only hotel brand. To remember that I LOVE charcuterie upon arrival for all of my stays when it is available is BEYOND a special touch. I recommend the Hyatt every chance I get. Thanks Hyatt Centric the Woodlands staff for making my 1st stay at the property at memorable one."
