"Overall it is an okay place to stay. There’s lots of road construction going on in the area and workers are staying at the hotel. Some were in the parking lot late drinking beer after a hard days work but they were quiet and out of sight by 10:00pm. The rooms have been updated so there isn’t the old hotel vibe. Any price over $100 a night and I would question the value unless the location is important."

"It's a motel in a more remote area-- reading other reviews, I have no idea why they were expecting it to be more than what it is. I suggest you google what to expect from general small town motels and then come back and read the rest of my review. The negatives: Like all small town motels, the walls are very thin. I suggest requesting an upper floor room to reduce noise as much as possible. The room was also very warm, so I suggest turning on the ac as soon as you walk in to keep it a decently cool temp-- it will cool it down quickly. The price is also raised A LOT specifically during the Renaissance Festival. I'm sure that's their bread and butter so im not upset about it, but its sad that it's so pricey with no additions to breakfast or anything. The breakfast was very sparse with very few options. The positives: The people here are very kind. The motel is super convenient for the Renaissance Festival, including a free shuttle for use to/from that goes from 9am until 2/3am. The beds were comfortable and despite a little dust behind the table/under the beds, the room was clean. They have shampoo and soap for use in the bathroom (it's not high quality but if you don't like it there's a dollar tree right next to the motel). They cleaned and switched out the linens while we were gone so we always had enough towels. No safety issues came up with the area or room, so we were all very happy with our stay In conclusion: you're paying for the location, shuttle service, and very basic amenities at this motel. If you want better, you'll need to find a hotel further away and arrange your own transportation. For what it is, I'd absolutely rate this motel as one of the best small town motels I've ever been to!!"

"No closet in the room. Only one trashcan. No curtains on the window letting so much light in all night. The outlets and the USB ports on one side of the bed did not work. No towel rack in the bathroom. No freezer in the fridge. Linoleum was not set correctly on the floor. Only shampoo and body wash no conditioner and the shampoo smelled like toilet cleaner. Breakfast ends at 9 on Sunday and the selection was poor and sparse. The shuttle to the renfair was the best part of the whole visit. Brittany Murphy is a rockstar and her Mr Murphy was tops as well."

"Terrible room, hot rooms, they lied about a stain not being able to be removed from bed that was chocolate. Apparently they don’t know how to do laundry. Careful staying here, they’ll charge extra after you leave. Smells terrible!!!!"

"An older (completely remodeled) hotel that I didn’t expect to be a nice as it was! It was very clean, quiet with comfortable beds. The bathrooms were brand new and had great water pressure. The only thing I would tell the owners is maybe put some black out curtains over the plantation shutters for if people are light sensitive. They have great security lighting outside which just allowed some of the light to come through even with the shutters closed. But I’m just sensitive to light, didn’t bother my husband at all. Also good little breakfast. Great place to stay and would definitely stay here again."
