"LIFE SAVERS!!! Was on a trip to Mexico, with major car issues. Showed up and inquired about a mechanic in town. The front desk lady referred us to Mr.Morris! Who was able to pick the car up take a look at it first thing in the morning! Thanks to The Country Corner Inn, my family and I were able to get back on the road after a comfortable sleep, with a working vehicle! Update: Returned from Mexico to stay at The Country Corner Inn, before continuing our 18 hour drive!!"

"I'll start this by saying it is the ONLY place in town and the employee at the desk was super smug about the fact. Starting with the entrance, it's really only accessible from one direction, and the entrance is hidden behind the ice machine. The entrance from the other business's parking lot has giant potholes in it. The woman at the desk refused to honor the quote for the room we got over the phone and charged for the most expensive room without asking if that was the room type we wanted. Once we got to our room, the floors were filthy concrete tiles. Some of these creaked, cracked, and shifted underfoot. There was a giant gap under the door (explains the dirt ask over) that we had to block off with towels because you could hear everything, see the lights outside the room and smell people smoking in the parking lot. The AC unit wasn't flat against the wall, one corner always sticking out. It either ran all the time despite being on auto, and it froze the room, or turned off for long stretches and the room roasted before turning back on to keep the room at 72. The toilet wasn't attached to the floor and would shift and rattle around when you sat on it. The shower was cracked and peeling, and there was a section on the floor that felt like the flooring underneath was rotten and gone. There's great water pressure, but there's no cold water, in fact, it's all just hot even from the sink. Now for checkout, there's a key drop outside and since we had to leave early we used the key drop box. We'd been on the road for hours when this shady hotel tried to charge us fees (for what? We don't know, it was 2 of us, we cleaned the floors while we were there and we don't smoke) but the charges attempted amounted to $600 throughout the day. They NEVER attempted to contact us about any issues, they just tried to charge us in amounts varying from $50 to $250 with no explanation. It's dirty, the woman at the desk is rude and they're scam artists. Don't waste your time or get caught in their money grubbing trap."

"Room appeared clean and comfortable. Slept well but when I pulled back shower curtain on next o the tub was crawling with ants. There were hundreds, will report to office,"

"Clean room but the counter tops in the bathroom needed a scrubbing. Hella good hot water pressure in the shower and the bathroom was a nice size for a couple. The office lady is easy going and I love the pool! This small town hotel beats some of the more known ones I've stayed in in bigger cities such as San Antonio."

"The water pressure is awesome. The lady in the office was really nice and answered all my silly questions. The beds are super soft! Clean rooms. I honestly really enjoyed staying here for two nights. I will definitely stay here again when I need a room."
