"Just spent the night at the remarkable Landmark Inn! Such a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Our room and private bath were superb! The staff were so friendly and always wanted to help. The grounds and buildings are well kept and all signage is very helpful. The historical aspect and the town of Castroville are an important part of Texas history. A real hidden gem!"

"We had the pleasure of staying at the Landmark Inn in August, and our stay was richly steeped in history, tradition, Texas charm and hospitality. From check-in to check-out, and every moment in between, we felt welcome and in awe of the Inn and surrounding area. Our rooms were furnished period specific; it was as though we were stepping back in time - to a bygone era. We loved every minute of it. At Check-in, we were greeted so warmly by Georgia and Hunter - both were knowledgeable of the Inn's history, grounds and Castroville. Upon Check-out, Mia was so very friendly and helpful. Great staff - a true asset to the Landmark Inn. We greatly enjoyed our stay, and we cannot wait to visit again."

"Located very close to the Medina River. Not only an historic site but also a working Inn. I stayed the night in one of the rooms. It was really cool getting to stay in a museum/historic site. Lots of history."

"Interesting small historical museum and bed & Breakfast. Buildings started in 1849 and have included a hotel, general store, grain & cotton mill and water driven electrical power plant. We stayed in the B&B - rustic rooms. Enjoyed walking the grounds and have taken the tour."

"We stayed the night in this beautiful, state historic landmark! The grounds, including an old mill, are beautiful. The staff was terrific. They have a small garden filled with heirloom vegetable varieties. One of the ladies spent time with us sharing gardening tips and walking us through the various varieties she had planted. The room was clean and inviting."
