"Stay far away from this filth. Bed bugs, hot tube got us sick. Customer service is by far the worst I've seen. The room looked like it was maintenance and cleaned by a child( dirty ) . This place needs new management and remodeling. The place makes you feel your in some 3rd world dirty country. Absolutely disgusting"

"This hotel is very accommodating we had issues with our reservation at the La Quinta Inn when we arrived in Mercedes on September 14th after a long 5hr drive from San Antonio Tx so we called Express Inn to get a last minute reservation for 3 nights as we were competing in the menudo cookoff there in Mercedes Tx September 15th & 16th 2023 Rick ( hotel manager) was very nice and said he had a room for us and gave us a great rate as well the hotel smells very clean and is very well kept the room was very clean bed was comfortable and the ac worked great even our fur baby was approved next time we visit the valley we will definitely be staying here again thank you to Rick and his staff fir making our stay comfortable!"

"Staff super friendly, they have a pool. Wifi works great, peaceful no one bothers you. Good breakfast waffles, cereal fruit muffins honey buns, orange juice milk and coffee. Great price, was able to park our bobtail inside parking and if you have your full truck you can park behind the building a small street hardly any traffic. Also washer and dryer. No elevator but it’s only two stories, stairs are wide and easy to climb. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave. Everywhere is super clean. Vending machine only takes change no card."

"Absolutely terrible, the service was awful, the man in the front was very rude and talked down on us. He asked for everyone’s ID’s and even asked for birth certificates from the minors. He accused us of lying when booking the room saying that we had too many people in a room when we put the specific amount of people on the website, and he even came into the room making everyone feel very uncomfortable. After the little altercation he threatened to call the cops on us if we made any little sound he heard or complain he received from other guests although we had done nothing wrong. Their website isn’t 100% true at all. I would give this place 0 stars if I could !"

"It was calm and peaceful. The rooms were clean aside from the marks on the walls caused by the humidity. The staff was friendly. Their showers have really awesome hot water— the only negative is they didn’t have a mat. Really accessible to other locations and you can even get things delivered. I also loved that it included an ironing board, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, and blow dryer. Definitely worth it and very economic."
